Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum lead pack of 2010 CMT Music Awards nominees

Carrie-UnderwoodImage Credit: Bob Charlotte/PR PhotosYour 2010 CMT Music Awards nominees were announced today — sorry I’m a little slow in getting this up, news cycle! — and they’re a predictable pack. Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, and Taylor Swift lead with three nominations each; everyone else in country music trails with two. Okay, I’m oversimplifying a bit, but no, really, it’s kinda everybody. After all, this is country music’s most democratic awards show — you kids can head over to CMT.com this very second and votevotevote for your faves, or they will lose, and it will be your fault.

Who are the standouts? I will be registering at least one click for Miranda “Off the Market” Lambert‘s clever “White Liar” vid (watch yourself, Blake), one for Brad Paisley’s “Welcome to the Future” clip, and one for the surprisingly wonderful Jason Aldean/Bryan Adams collabo on “Heaven.” I’ll be curious to see if Sugarland cancel themselves out in the Duo category (with the heartbreak of “Keep You” vs. the bubbles of “Nightswimming/Joey”), thus opening the door for Brooks & Dunn’s Very Last Win At The CMT Awards Ever OMG. And as far as snubs go, I guess ’bout now Martina McBride has gotta be wondering if she even works here anymore.

The ceremony will be held June 9 in Nashville, and at this point I am far less interested in your “awesome” host Kid Rock and far more interested in how CMT uses the ceremony to honor and celebrate (and hopefully raise money for) their poor drowned city. I know the network itself suffered damage had to relocate for several days during the flood, so I am certain they’ll step up and do it right.

Full list of noms after the jump; what do you think of the pack, Mixers? And who’s getting your vote?
