This is one eclectic lineup. Headling this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival, which takes place Oct. 8-10 in Austin (duh), are the Eagles, M.I.A., Phish, Muse, The Strokes, and Flaming Lips. Nothing there you like? Don’t worry, among the billion or so other bands scheduled to play sets in Zilker Park are LCD Soundsystem, Spoon, Vampire Weekend, Norah Jones, Sonic Youth, Gogol Bordello, the National, The xx, and the Sword (full list below). Oh, and Blues Traveler.
Okay, so who’s ready for a road trip this fall?

I would go for Vampire Weekend and Amos Lee.
Quite a lineup. Some of the best bands in the world. But The Eagles…?
jrockergirl15 on November 27, 2008 I’m trying to invncoce my choir director to have this as a senior number at the end of our musical review this year. But it will be after Obama takes office, so any suggestions to replace the George Bush bit?
This like coachella jr. lineup. I already saw half of these bands at coachella and then some. Anyway, highlights: vampire weekend, beach house, muse, lcd soundsystem, the xx, yeasayer, deadmau5
This looks awesome!
I share Jeff Lebowski’s opinion of the Eagles. Gah. Terrific acts below the headliners, though, and there’s never not a good reason to go to Austin.
TheReado01 on September 28, 2010 push ups where wank, can almost feel my back hrtuing on those dead lifts for him. sloppy rest of the way..but then i guess hes not even broken sweat from what i can see very fit though, hard to judge.
Phish, Muse, M.I.A, Robert Randolph, Band of Horses……..I’m SOLD!!!
I am so pleased with this line-up. Lots of big names that should make it a good follow up to the awesomeness that was Pearl Jam last year. And, to top it off…my 3-day passes…were only $50! Woot! Can’t wait!
This is going to be unreal! this line up rules!
I cant wait to see 15 year old powerhouse Ruby Jane perform!
Anyone know a physical addy to put into the gps??? I need to find the CLOSEST hotels, like yesterday!!
Thanks!
epicman117 on June 13, 2011 @CutThroatKid123 I didn’t know the exact price, I only knew it was smntonehiog REDICULOUS, especially for a hat .. and the last time I played was like 6-8 months ago.
Magnificent web site. Lots of useful info here. I’m sending it to several friends ans also sharing in delicious. And of course, thank you to your effort!
Fantastic issues altogether, you simply won a emblem new reader. What might you suggest about your put up that you made a few days in the past? Any sure?
