Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0 sold 60,000 copies last week, making it No. 1 on the Billboard‘s 200 albums chart for its fourth non-consecutive week. It’s the second lowest No. 1 album in Billboard‘s history since SoundScan began recording statistics 1991.
Lady Antebellum‘s Need You Now remains at No. 2 with 54,000. New York rockers the National arrive at No. 3; their High Violet sold 51,000 copies. AC/DC’s Iron Man 2 soundtrack climbs four up to No. 4 with 48,000 units moved. The Dead Weather’s Sea of Cowards debuts at No. 5 with 45,000.
James Taylor and Carole King’s Live at the Troubadour drops two slots to No. 6, selling 44,000 units. Usher’s Raymond v. Raymond rises three spots to No. 7 with 43,000. Oprah’s favorite teen, Charice, debuts at No. 8. Her self-titled effort sold 43,000 copies.
Last week‘s No. 1, Godsmack‘s The Oracle, drops to No. 9 with just under 43,000. And As I Lay Dying’s Powerless Rise rounds out the top 10 at No. 10 with 38,000.
Are you surprised Justin’s back at No. 1? Did you buy any of the top 10 albums last week? Let us know.

Lord. This country needs a lobotomy.
Couldn’t give a rats ass about Bieber but thrilled at the good showing for The National. Long overdue attention for a brilliant band.
About time the best artist in the country is back at number one again
Take that you jerks!
sweetie, a lobotomy would really help you. look into it.
Hey i’m the real crispy!…well not really.
Sara I’m not offended after all what have you done with your life today? That’s right.. post hate comments on EW.com. Great job your so inspiring!
I am thrilled the Carole King/James Taylor cd is doing so well. The young
folk should take lessons from these pros.
Yay for the National and the Dead Weather. Does anyone know if Jack’s new band sold more albums this week that their last debut?
Have faith people, The National at number 3 is a sign the apocalypse isn’t immediately at hand at least.
Isn’t 60K+ about a weekly average of a Top 40 artist/band in the album charts anyways. No artist/band that’s huge released a debut this past week. So no I’m not really surprised.
But nice to see The National (on a indie label) debut at #3.
I know I’ve read that Justin Bieber is 16, but really, he looks 4. I must be too old for teenybopper icons now. I swear no famous person this side of Dakota Fanning has ever looked that young.
In a country with 300 million people, is topping the sal;es chart with a measley 60,000 units really worth reporting anymore?!?
at least the national came in at number 3, there is a little hope left in the music business lol…..also the dead weather at 5 is pretty nice as well…both the national and the dead weather have more talent in one finger than bieber or lady antebellum combined
Cole give me a break you only like indie music because it makes you seem “trendy”, “hip” or “cool”. Guess what your none of the three. There is a reason the top two artists are in the positions they are and it isn’t because of “lack of talent”. BTW if they are so untalented why don’t you top them? Yeah thats right your only talent is writing very jealous and bitter comments on EW.com. Best of luck in life it appears you will need it.
yeah, thats exactly the reason why i listen to the national, its because ive been told they are trendy and hip, othewrwise i would have never listened to them. I just sit around all day and wait for some hipsters to validate certain artists so that i can start listening to them (if u cant catch the sarcasm in the above lines, then u prolly arent reading closely enough)…as for the reason bieber and antebellum are in the top 2, maybe it has something to do with the fact that their songs sound just like every other song on top 40 radio stations (although i must admit i do like the lady antebellum song need you know)….crispy, u should go listen to fake empire, mr. november, terrible love, or any other national song and then try to claim that bieber or lady antebellum are more talented than the national
Good Job Justin! I’m really proud of you!
This is unintentionally hilarious.
Let’s put this in perspective…60,000 copies gets you to No. 1. In a country of 300,000,000 potential music purchasers, that means that 0.02% of the population made Bieber their number 1. Yeah, the music industry is really flying at the moment!
yuo were right
i want to the best song
