“You’re Gonna Miss Me” – The 13th Floor Elevators
Funny — this is the second time this song has been on a soundtrack. It was also on the “High Fidelity” soundtrack. (Maybe it’s on others as well…)
I’m really not a fan of Beck, but “Bad Blood” was pretty good. The other songs are all very good.
I’ve always enjoyed the show’s music. You really notice it as it adds an element unlike almost any other show on TV. It’s almost like a great soundtrack to a good movie. You walk out saying, I have to get my hands on that soundtrack (Almost Famous, for example), where other movies you don’t even realize there was one.
What about Dig by Headbone?
It’s NOT the full soundtrack list. It’s 14 out of 18 songs.
I know the M.Ward cover of “Howlin’ For My Baby” fits the feel of the show, but my favorite cover of that song is off The Dirty Dozen CD by George Thorogood and the Destroyers.
whoa, that “How To Become Clairvoyant” track is cool. Who is that???
“How To Become Clairvoyant” is by Robbie Robertson. He is a guitarist/songwriter who was a founding member of The Band. They used to back Bob Dylan in the ’60s and ’70s.
@ Lynn. Thanks! Killer tune.
What is the song in Never Let Me Go that plays immediately in the credits after Godric is introduced?
