Now I understand what “Nero fiddled while Rome burned” means. It is being played out in real time by our superintelligent President, who in the 40-plus days of the oil spill has had various vacations and parties at the White House. The other night he entertained Paul McCartney. Why? He should be down at the spill speaking to the citizens of Louisiana. Or how about inviting some unemployed Americans to dinner at the White House? Stop playing with our tax money, please.
I’m glad to see that Obama has time in his day to sing a duet with Paul McCartney. God knows this is a priority. It’s not like there is a major oil spill taking place in the gulf, or that unemployment is over 10%, or our borders need securing, or our allies could use our support, or that our economy is going in the tank. Glad to see Barry has so much time on his hands that he can throw yet another party for another liberal-socialist entertainer.
What else can you expect from a friend of Bono?

Ok, so I’m in school and I have big papers come up. So when I have important homework in front of me, I don’t always get to play with my daughter or take my dogs for a walk or do “fun” things for myself. I would consider America pretty important homework.
