The hate that Christina get is so ridiculous. Firstly, all the haters probably havent heard Bionic which is front to back a great record and sounds nothing like Lady Gaga ( whom I am a fan off too). The sound, musically is original and different from anything Christina has done and anything anyone else is doing it is electro-pop or what have you but with more of an urban? influence. And at the same time its so Christina Aguilera.
As far as her glam-rock type outfits being similar to Gaga, okay I’ll give you that. But look around, look at Miley Cyrus, Kesha and a whole array of female artists rocking loud/dark/ridic outfits. Its in, so why does Christina get the most hate for wearing like that too? Extreme Gaga fans should look at it this way, Gaga is a fashion icon and whether or not other celebs intentionally dress like her or not, she made a huge impact on fashion of today. But in the same breath she didn’t create the look, she borrows it from stars of the past…people who influence her…but she adds a twist to it as well.
Also, I think Lady Gaga is a great artist, definitely one of a kind and she is a great singer too. Christina however is an incredible vocalist and nothing can take that away from her, she’ll go down in history for that voice. She’s an icon and Lady Gaga’s becoming one too, so why pin the two against each other? I think its childish and ignorant and honestly dont understand why nobodys like Perez Hilton feel entitled to do so…

Also “Floptina”? Riiight, because having numerous grammys and multi-platinum records makes you a flop…not to mention the best voice of this generation according to Rolling Stone?

But anyway back to the point Lady Gaga and Christina are both great musicians and artists and have something very different to offer. People who are too immature to at least respect one or the other need to grow up.

Also, since when does record sales and radio play determine how good somebody’s music is?
Christina’s one of the few artists of today who have longevity as opposed to trendiness.

Seriously, wtf is EW’s deal with Christina. They hate everything about her and NEVER give her good reviews on anything. How can you deny her LIVE performances!!?? That’s the best part! I really lost a lot of respect for this mag by hearing this crap. Obviously there is something shady going on.

But wait, like I don’t get it weren’t you also the ones who talked crap about her Stripped album?hmmm and yet Christina Strip is classic album that people talk about still. Sure it didn’t make the number one on billard either but it got mad notice in the Grammys One word Beautiful and it got bashed pretty bad too. Bionic will be hit too it’s got some great songs in it’s own way. You lost Me is gold for Grammy. EW is full of crap that just likes to bring Christina down your not the first to do and prob won’t be the last one either. She will show you that she will get what she wants from the album it’s awesome and it’s a must to get.She wasn’t afraid to go up against Glee and Twilight CD. More power to here she’s not afraid where she will rank because it’s a good album.Who knows she might appear on Twilight and Glee that would be cool. Go Christina and Love your new album so verstile!!

Bionic isn’t a bad album but the focus is all wrong. She seems out of her element with all these electro pop songs. It works for others but not her.

Look the point is this girl has little to know personality and the less talking the better with her because she is never interesting. It’s so scripted and created she really needs to stop trying to be on trend and start figuring out her niche cause people are over it. She also sings the same thing on every song and if she departs from that it usually sounds uncomfortable. She needs alot of practice to be in fact and not just in payola one of the 100 best singers. Noone will remember this album in 10 years. Like Mariah and Glitter

i give her an A for effort. but a C- for creativity.
