Despite my best efforts, it was awfully hard to walk into Lilith Fair on Saturday with an open mind. Read the full post.

I thoroughly enjoyed the concert in Irvine and I respect and love the idea of Lilith Fair – celebrating female artists and sisterhood. And the atmosphere on Saturday was one of excitement and enthusiasm. The writer gives TOO much credit to the 3 drunks rather than celebrate the positive energy that was flowing in the crowd. And really…why mention the male band members? Seems a little female chauvinistic to me
All I can say is I’m so glad you enjoyed Miranda Lambert!!
I was disappointed when I saw LA’s lineup, that’s why I drove up to the Oregon show, which IMO, had the best lineup in the west coast, and 1st tier dead center seat @$90, u can’t do any better. The show was amazing!!! I also went to the LA show, because I scored a $10 ticket for the 2nd tier on livenation 1 day sales, can’t say No to that, with previously commitment, I didn’t get to the show till 7-ish, got my popcorn and beer and walk right into a Cinco de Mayo party!! I thought I went to the wrong show lol. All in all, I get the watch Sarah + Butterfly for $10. I’m happy!! I do agree the ticket price and lineup for the LA show is ridiculous, I was going to pass on the show, if it weren’t for the sales. I’m amazed to walk in and see most of the 3rd tier seats empty, but I’ve heard the SD show is even worst.

Saw it in 1998 and it was amazing. Just think going back would be sad. Still love Sarah and she would be the only reason I would go now.
Saw the show in San Diego. I loved it and so did my husband. It was maybe half full we chalked up to this terrible economy and poor publicity. The artist were phenomenal, all of them. I had never even heard of Jenni Rivera and I am 100% Mexican. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised by her performance. Sara Mclachlan was amazing, an incredibly gifted artist. I hope she comes an Diego some time.
Does anyone know the song Sarah sung off her new album that was about making the world a better place? I liked it live, but cant figure out what the title is. Thanks!
