Image Credit: Marc Broussely/Redferns/Getty ImagesWhile performing her hit “So What” at a concert in Germany last night, pop star Pink fell from the elaborate trapeze set-up she was hanging from over the stage. In a YouTube video captured by a fan, Pink appears to start ascending in the trapeze hoist, then falls down, before yelling into her mic, “Oh God. Oh f— that hurt.” According to reports, Pink fell out of the harness she was in and was dragged into a barricade.
The singer later dispatched several missives about the incident on her Twitter feed. First she wrote: “To all my nurnberg fans- I am so so so sorry to end the show that way.I am embarassed and very sorry. I’m in ambulance now but I will b fine.” Then, about an hour later, she assured fans she was alright: “Ok all my lovers out there- nothings broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore. I made that barricade my b*tch!!!! Thanx nurnberg:(“
Then, about 8:30 a.m. this morning, she wrote: “okay. full steam ahead people.no pain, no gain. or is it no brain, no pain? either way, i will be on that stage, even if i have to crawl:)” And followed that up with a thank you to fans: “and a HUMONGOUS thank you to everyone who sent their love and concern, nikki is also doing fine. i will buy her an ice cream later.” Hark: It does indeed sound like she’s fine. Whew! Calls to her representatives for further comment have not yet been returned.

I cannot watch videos of people getting hurt for real. Anyway, saw Pink in Houston last year and she put on one hell of a show. Glad she’s okay!
there is another video out there taken from just next to the stage. You can clearly see Pink looking to the side stage (presumably the harness operators) and giving them the “x” sign with her arms to indicate she was not strapped in and ready to go! that’s scary, you need to be able to trust the operators when doing this kind of stuff. so glad she’s ok, and just more evidence of what a cool person she is!
glad she is ok. i saw the other video too – and she went back on the stage afterwards! i dont know that she did anything because the video ended, but still, i was impressed.

actually, her “Funhouse” album is the 2nd highest selling album of the decade in Australia, and her album “I’m Not Dead” is the 3rd. She’s bigger than Gaga in a great deal of places around the world. She had the 7th highest grossing tour of 2009 in the world. She’s bigger than ever. You lady gaga freaks need to stop thinking Gaga’s the queen of the universe. At least P!nk has some ideas of her own, Gaga is a bass’d up version of Madonna.

I saw her show in Philly a few months back. Great show, great performer. She’s a tough one, that’s for sure.
I am surprised that Pink survived after that concert fall. Maybe it was a scratch after that concert fall, but I like that she thanked the fans for their concerns. Then, you had to get the publicist to get an update, now it’s Twitter and she was able to enter it on her portable Iphone. And, the show must go on and I commend her for continuing the tour. Those concerts have to be grueling, doing that night after night, but those artists want to do it for their loyal fans.
Embarrassed? Why should she feel embarrassed? She obviously didn’t intentionally cause her fall, she shouldn’t feel bad about it at all. Now her assistant who was responsible for fastening her harness should feel embarrassed, because their carelessness could’ve cost her her life. Anyway, Pink is a true performer, anyone else would’ve been too traumatized to go on, but she seems to have a strength made of steel.
