He has yet to be charged.

UPDATE: Ice-T has addressed his arrest on Twitter this afternoon. “Some punk b—- rookie cop named [name and badge number redacted] Made the arrest of his bulls— career today,” he wrote, “Arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt..” A few minutes later, Ice-T added, “He said ‘I know who you are and I don’t give a f—!’ That was right after I called him a punk b—-.. Then they questioned me about FLTG.” FLTG stands for Final Level Twitter Gang, Ice-T’s name for his loyal Twitter followers. The NYPD declined to comment on Ice-T’s version of events.

why do they call him a rapper-actor? Ice-T hasnt rapped, in like 20 years! Did people refer to Ronald Reagan as the Actor-President?
Yes, they did.
Yep.
As Nelso would say “Ha ha!”
Nelson I mean.
I think he’s done the public a HUGE disservice by making millions portraying these cops as good, and now it’s come back to bite him. His SVU show is a complete 360 from the truth. Google “police crimes” or “police misconduct statistics” to see what those who supposedly protect and serve are all about. Here’s what a REAL SVU cop did:
“Bensalem PA SVU detective / cop charged with sexual assault”
Um, have you ever heard of a song he made called “Cop Killer”? It paints cops in a most unfavourable light.
You can’t judge all cops based on the actions of a few. In every profession there are those who chose to do wrong things. I do think Ice-T went a bit overboard with his reaction/tweet however. If you’re breaking the law then you’re breaking the law and of course if he reacted in a hostile manner then the officer would react in turn.
