In the new video for T.I. and Keri Hilson’s “Got Your Back,” an actor plays an imprisoned man sustained by the love of a loyal lady back home. This must be a subject near and dear to the heart of T.I., who spent much of 2009 behind bars on a weapons conviction. His own real-life longtime love, former Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, even makes a sweet cameo with Tip at the very end of the clip.
The rest of the video shows the two main performers grooving to “Got Your Back” in various well-chosen outfits, often while separated by a symbolic wall. Check it out after the jump and let us know what you think, and if you’re looking forward for T.I.’s King Uncaged to arrive this September.

The part with Tiny and TIP at the end was corny-cute. The video is average. Love the song though.
Whats the new release date for “King Uncaged” ? I thought it was still August 17th? Did they bump it til September to release it the week of the VMAs?! Have they announced when the VMAs are going to be this year!?
I like this song, could be another pop hit for T.I., but am I the only one that feels that the song’s groove feels like a sequel to Keri’s “Knock You Down”!?
