Image Credit: Jordan Strauss/WireImage.comOn Wednesday night, police in Dekalb County, Ind., found marijuana on a tour bus carrying the Poison rocker and Celebrity Apprentice star Bret Michaels, according to the Fort-Wayne News-Sentinel. A DeKalb Clounty Sheriff’s deputy pulled over Michaels’ two tour buses just after 11.30pm because of a lighting violation. Officers searched both buses and found marijuana on both as well as other unidentified controlled substances. No arrests were made, but according to Chief Deputy Jay Oberholtzer, charges have been forwarded to the DeKalb County Prosecutor’s Office.
“Two of Bret’s tour buses were pulled over Wednesday night,” Bret Michael’s spokesperson tells EW via email. “Officers on the scene claimed there were no trailer tag lights. No arrests were made. Mr. Michaels allowed an open search of the buses and everything was handled in a professional manner.”
The spokesperson had no comment on the allegation that drugs were found on the buses.

Water is wet.

Hopefully that will be enough to take him out of the running for a judges spot on American Idol.
fantastic(oh, how i love me some sarcasm)…NEXT PLEASE!
Probably the least scandalous “scandal” and least surprising news story of the year.
absolutely!
When did rockers start doing drugs?
Your joking right!!!!!!!!! Well lets see ever since the first rock group with started.
Eeek! Pot! Hide your children. Brett Michaels is probably reading this headline and laughing: “Pot! Really? Pot is like a healthy bowl of salad compared to we did back in the `80s”
who cares who smokes pot—-it should be legal….and here is another group of cops stopping someone for a lighting issue and then searching the whole vehicle—I guess the cops used their power to earch a vehicle they dod not have to in the beginning-OVERUSE OF POWER…….TYPICAL…..TEAM BRET
Marijuana on a Rocker’s tour bus! What is this world coming to?
No big deal unless the driver was tokin’.
You are right——–overuse of power
GO Bret—-You are corret-cops stop someone for a lighting issue and search the vehicle—On a power trip….and no one got arrested….strange…….Cops go way overboard-
The cops should have locked them all up in jail for the night.
Haha, isn’t it great that instead of busting the crackhouses and drunks they choose to pull over celebrity tour buses for license plate light violations? Seems like a perfect use of dwindling resources…
This is the guy we want to replace simon on american idol? An uber-douche, womanizing, pothead. that sends a pretty clear message to the american publc, America, our standards just got that much lower.
Like Simon Cowell doesn’t smoke pot?
If Simon Cowell doesn’t smoke pot then maybe he should start.
You go Brett!! Pot…for crying out loud!! Does the government have nothing better to do??? What a waste of my tax dollars.
no the government has nothing better to do that why in pennsylvania we have a governor and ex-senator on sports talk radio all the time while unemployment hovers around 10 percent
No crime was committed they did not have to give permission to search the vehicles. Any one who is not aware of their rights in this day and age does not deserve to have cannabis to begin with .Or at least any good cannabis .You should Never consent to ANy search by ANY LEO ever. Far to many people died to make sure we have these rights including the 4th amend. people should be more willling to exercise them ..
