Who are we kidding here? Lady Gaga has provided the only (and I mean ONLY) reason to even CARE about music videos, much less look forward to new ones, in pretty much the last decade. For MTV not to acknowledge this with a Moonman would be a slap in her face.
and a HUGE discredit to themselves (MTV). Gaga is the only real exciting thing happening in music (period) right now. Everything else is is same old!
If you really think that Florence’s nomination has nothing to do with cross-promoting EatPrayLove, you haven’t been paying attention to MTV Awards, who have become one of the most transparent marketing tools for films recently…
I am SO SAD!! I thought for sure the VMAs would be in NYC this year again…now I’m not so sure that Rhianna will be in NYC to come out and do “Umbrella” with Jay and “LOve The Way You Lie” with Em at Yankess Stadium! MTV U SUCK.

I can’t believe that Adam Lambert isn’t a nominee! Whataya Want From Me definitely deserved to be! It’s definitely not fair since that song was a hit! Screw you VMAs yall just made a HUGE mistake & lost 50% of your viewers.

sorry but lady gaga is not going to win, Eminem is and for one reason, even tho Lady gaga’s fanbase is higher than Eminem’s, it is not twice as high and the vote will be split down the middle since Lady Gaga has 2 nominations

I don’t really remember anyone else’s videos but Lady Gagas, but there are some good artisits here but when do the people you want ever win? MTV isn’t as popular as they used to be, but its worse than the Grammys. They never get anythign right.
