Everyone alsways suspected that Arnold would make a horrible governor…granted its not President, but the comparison is there.
And honestly, Pras shoulda kept his comments to himself, since in all honesty, as close as he and Wyclef may have been there is a reaosn the Fugees never released another album after “The Score”, the infighting with Lauryn (and her subsequent erratic behavior) wasn’t the ONLY excuse. Entertainment and politics should never blend, cause no one ever agrees.

Haiti is a catastrophe and I doubt the militia or drug cartels would like him coming in shaking things up, or trying to at least.
I am very move by every one comments i just want to add that Haiti need more then some one new and fresh or old. we have took our independence but we haven’t live it yet,we dont even have a chance to live to our standar as the fist free black nation we have a role to play in the world and a responsability in our hand,we are responsible for the future of freedom,if we can creat a new haiti the world will have a new civil right movement and Human right will promoted it self.The problems in Haiti it’s not just a Haitian problems but it’s an Historical Problem. Haiian need a born Leader with pation for History and determination for change.We all know what Haiti have been to and what we are facing but what are we willing to do about is the Question.I think Wyclef feel like he need to be president to respond to this question in my opinion there many otherthing he could of be doing for Haiti. I completely agree with Both S. Penn and Pras but we should also remember that the past 200 years Haiti has been run by so-called political leaders for the most part. Haiti did not become a basket case as a result of the devastated earthquake of last January, it always has been due to the corruption of its own leaders and the 5% elite that control 95% of Haiti’s resources

I WYCLEF SHOULD run president,it is time to change HAITI constitution.
So far, it’s the experienced politicians who have gotten the US, Haiti and all other nations to this point in history. Let’s review the list of experienced elected presidents. Fresh in our minds is the most recent loser of the Bush family. That dynasty gave us 2 US presidents, 2 governors, a CIA director, etc. We all know how that one worked out.
Wyclef may not be the right person for the job, but let’s look beyond the experienced politician and try someone with good intentions and the will and determination. We may find that those qualities work out better that previous political experience.
I think Wyclef will be the best leader in Haiti because he love his nation.

I agree with what pras said about him not being the right leader for the people. But i say that even though he hasn’t resided in Haiti five years before he tried to run for a leadership position, I feel he deserves a chance to run for office because he is still a Haitian born citizen. I just feel as strongly as pras, the people of haiti needs a real leader who understands the pain and the struggle of the people. the people also need a leader who will lead and guide them, on striving towards a better future, because the people of haiti are dying. their is not enugh supply of good water, theirs no good roads, the structure of the houses that people are building down there are cheap because their isn’t a leader down there thats caring for the needs of the people as individuals. My father Joseph d. Kerizareth told me that the country is suffering and is in need of a strong government with people that has a true passion to seeing Haiti succeed as a whole. I Petter L. Kerizareth can not stand, and will not stand and let self gain people try and gain leadership role, and dont know how to lead. Right now im a resident alien in the u.s, Haitian born citizen. I am currently a freshmen at a university in michigan, where ill be spending 4 to 6 years getting my masters in computer engineering. subsequently; rising as a young leader, to help Haiti get out of this struggle that it is in now.
