Taylor Swift fans are so jealous of Carrie Underwood and her success, awards, etc that they have to put their negative comments in every time any article appears. Carrie is the best and her and Brad are so funny together. That is why the CMA’s have them back for a third year. Carrie should sweep both female vocalist and EOTY. SHe has had a much more successful year than Miranda Lambert – more #1′s, much higher album sales, and her live concerts draw four times as many fans on the average

no need to talk about miranda. Miranda is a better a more real artist then carrie. Carrie si to fake for my liking. Don’t get me wrong i do like carrie, but when it comes between miranda and carrie…there shouldn’t be a debate. Miranda is way better.
And yet, you’re over here insulting carrie. Call us Carrie fans blind, but you’re deaf. It’s obvious that Taylor’s vocal abilities (or lack thereof) puts her at a category behind in-tune vocalists such as Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, etc. You can compare tour earnings and whatever you want, but also think about how much they shove Taylor down our throats. Also think about all the pop-remixing Taylor has to do. You think people care about the country version of Love Story? No! They all love the pop edit. They constantly promote her as a pop singer on MTV, VH1, Radio Disney, etc. If they promoted true country artists like Carrie,Martina,Reba, and Miranda that much, I’m sure they would also get high numbers like her.
The fact of the matter is, Taylor’s music sounds the same. Her voice needs alot of coaching. Her fan base consists of young teenagers, wanting that fairy tale ending, yet realistically are too ignorant to think about true life. Taylor Swift may be the current trend, but how long can she talk about her precious fairy tales before it gets old? Seriously, she needs to act her age, not her IQ. I hope this girl finds her calling elsewhere, like maybe college so she can take a long much needed break from the music industry.
Carrie try pop but no one wanted to listen to her songs so she bomb on the pop market so saying taylor is pop and carrie is not u have no idea what u talking about as carrie try going pop too but did not make it. TAylor is going to be around a hell of a lot longer then carrie so get use to it. its not taylors fault everone radio station wants to play her music and not carries.
Carrie should be nominated for Entertainer of the Year and win !!!!!!! please she is the queen of country music ! come on CMA wake up !

This award should be about talent..it should go to Carrie..NO One can out sing her. Taylor Swift has won a lot because she has mostly teenybopper fans who are always on the computer voting. She can write but I agree she can’t sing very well. Carrie also sets the standards for a wholesome lifestyle that we ALL need right now. Go Carrie!!
