90 min. late..tell Axel to crawl back under whatever rock he’s been hiding under for so many years.
Why would promoters and venues continue to book Axl Rose. He hasn’t changed one bit over the years. He shows up hours late for everything, and he expects to be treated like a king. He’s had his day in the sun. Now, it’s time for him to go away.
Why is this kind of thing accepted anymore. Even Justin Bieber got a bottle throw at him. It’s so disrespectful and it started when the Tea Party People started showing up and town meetings and disrespecting our elected officials.
Everyone should know that a band like this is out of control, being late is such a small thing compared to what they did in the 70′s and 80′s. Real Fans should know and expect that.
It’s a damn shame that people would throw bottles at Axl. They should have knocked upside the head with a couple of great big rocks. Go away Axl. The time of your relevance is long past.
I saw GNR @ JFK Stadium un D.C. during the Metallica/GNR tour in 1992. During this show Axl had the fans waiting over 1.5 hrs before the band came onstage. that is completely outrageous make people wait that long & the crowd was still surly & anxious but thankfully nothing was thrown. It is behaviour like this that the guys in Metallica were making fun of Axl about in their DVD taping of that tour. That guy is worse than a Diva & is the sole reason for the former bands destruction & that is why GNR’s most recent album barely sold & almost nobody goes to their shows. This is will likely be their last!
GNR has to work like the rest of us who paid to see..Message to the Band..SHOW UP ON TIME God D#%# IT!! YOU FU#k POS!
Slash called.. he wants his look back.
FCK SLASH TOO!
Shame on all those Dublin people ..!!! Not for throwing bottles, but for allowing Axl Rose play a show there!
that was great they sucked in the 80″s they suck now and it would have been the greatest thing ever to see that homo get punched in the face
Anyone who knows Guns N’ Roses should have known before going to the show that they woukd be late and planned their night ir their trip with this in the front of their mind they also should have known they’d leave if stuff got thrown on stage. I was at the Dublin show and was aware of this the whole time and it frustrated me as to why people were starting to get so itchy. There was no reason for throwing anything in stage other than sine idiot having too much time ti get drunk. If the venue had any sense, they wouldn’t have allowed people to bring drink into the crowd in front of the stage. I believe the venue or promoters didn’t know the band either and they should have planned and coped with this situation much more efficiently to prevent it escalating, This was an incident that
made Irish people look a disgrace and it’s worth pointing out that most people at the
show were not taking part in this type of
behaviour and were real fans of Guns N’ Roses. As for the ones who thought it would be over by 11, they should stick to Take That type of shows where they
can be back in bed before midnight!
I think Axl is just trying to protect his band. It’s not cool to have bottles of unknown contents thrown at you and obviouly security needs to take these people away.
