Taylor should be THANKING Kanye for giving her more media attention than she has ever gotten in her life. Kanye West did more for her career than anyone who has ever worked for her.

She is doing the right thing. Its over and its been over for awhile. She accepted his apology, its time to move on. You have to wonder why now anyway? 5 days before this years VMA’s? Its like he wants her to publically forgive him there or something so he regaines some standing. He doesnt deserve that so i for one hope she keeps her silence because he is doing it for himself and his upcoming album release.

I kinda agree with Liz on this one; Kanye makes some of the sickest beats out there, and I honestly don’t think he’s being fake: he genuinely feels like crap for doing that to Taylor. In the moment, it felt like the right thing to do; Beyonce is one of his close friends, and he felt that she was wronged, so he got up on that stage and stood up for her. Wouldn’t anyone on these comments do the same for a friend? I know I would; I love Taylor, but I don’t think she deserved the award over Beyonce, and he was only doing what a lot of us were thinking, albeit not in the best way. If he really wanted to grovel, he would be sucking up to her constantly, but have you heard ‘Power’? It’s a thought-provoking track if you look into it (So Excitin’ = Suicide), and doesn’t for one second make any apologies. Team Kanye AND Team Taylor for me on this one!

Your success has come from TALENT and an image of a daughter every mother could be proud of. Slutiness sells, but you don’t have to stoop to it. Let’s see examples of “pay forward” not “payback.” Our young people need a hero that does the right thing. You are it.
