Producer/songwriter and now breakout solo star Bruno Mars released the video for his mid-tempo love song “Just the Way You Are” this morning. It’s been decades since cassette tapes have been used for music. So Mars finds a suave way to use the retro tech in the clip, yanking out the tape to draw pictures of his love interest.
The video is just as sweet as the track itself–currently No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Check it out after the jump and let us know what you think.

Bruno Mars is one of the break-out stars of 2010. He will be one of EW’s Entertainers of the Year in a few months (possibly even top 10). Y’all wrote a nice little half page write-up on him back in the Spring. He’s now become cover story material. If y’all weren’t trying too hard with groups like Sleigh Bells back when you put out your summer music preview, y’all would have recognized the star lighting up the charts on “Nothin’ But You” & “Billionaire” right in front of you. Give him the coverage he now deserves please. His album SHOULD be one of the best debuts this year. (lyrically & production-wise, NOT sales wise..not yet.) His EP “It’s Better If You Don’t Understand” was one of the best purchases I made last Spring.
