3 days after Michael died Joe was hawking his record label at the BET awards. Even brushing off questions about the kids to do so. He did not support anyone after he beat his kids into becoming stars. He lived off them and then Michael. MJ may have forgiven his father but he certainly did not want him in his business. He could have changed his will at any time between 2002 and 2009. You Joe lovers all showed up at once. Joe paying you with Michael’s money?
Don’t forget Michael did not become a superstar until he fired his father as manager.
Tom you are wrong Joe built the foundation, without foundation you have nothing. MJ was a man that spread love, he didn’t hate his father, on the contrary, he loved him. lets keep MJ legacy alive by not hating, lets forgive and move forward. Joe gave us MJ. In those days it was normal and acceptable to spank/beat kids.
love you are wrong. Michael Jackson did not become a superstar until he fired Joe Jackson and you don’t know what would have happened if Joe hadn’t beat his kids. Michael was so talented he may have become a star anyway. You can excuse and accept anything you want, but in those days it was NOT acceptable in my family to beat kids.
I don’t give a crap what was acceptable. What’s wrong is wrong. You don’t beat your kids with a cord. That’s what Joe Jackson did. There is NO excuse for such behavior!
The point of the matter is almost every child gets spanked. But in the case of MICHAEL JACKSON everyone knows that he did get beat and that Joe was just for self but disguised it as being for the family and that’s that (all he’ll admit too anyways so be happy you got that). But he was not only spanking him he was tormenting him from the jump. Teasing him about his appearance and making him only 1 of 6 six votes when in reality NO ONE was even coming to see the brothers anymore (Sorry you know its true) Joe is just going on all these T.V. shows because he’s not in the WILL how else is he going to support himself?
It’s interesting, though, that it’s really just LaToya and Michael who say Joe was too strict.
