Trina do they have to be famous or infamous to matter to you?? Regardless, he was a human being and deserves to be remembered. What have you done w/ur life that u’ll be remembered for if something unexpected happens to you?? We have become so self-involved and uncaring in this world! That was a good song and at least he’ll be remembered. Too young to go but sadly it was his time. Let’s all be grateful for every day and try to have a little more heart.
What’s so depressing and unfair about this is that all of the Backstreet Boys are still healthy and alive.
It’s too bad that the 3 surviving bandmates will exploit this in an attempt to re-launch their, uh, “careers”. They’re already working on new tracks and are planning to use some of Cronin’s previously recorded vocals… douchebags.
Well, if you really want to look on the bright side, the band is one-fourth less gay now.
I must admit I hate the song Summer Girls as well. But I was still sad to hear of Rich Cronin’s passing. Especially after hearing how long and hard he fought against his illness. I feel for his family, bandmates and fans. RIP Rich!
i love lfo’s music and finding out that rich had past away hit me hard cuz i went and seen them in concert at the tulsa state fair back in 2001 and it was the most awesome concert i had ever been to and then i got to meet every single member and they were so down to earth and it was the best time i had ever had. so i don’t care if people put them down saying that they were a one hit wonder band, but to me lfo will always be number 1 on top of the list right up there with the backstreet boys those are my two fave all-time bands. REST IN PEACE RICH CRONIN. YOUR TRUE FANS WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU.
rich cronin was a great rapper and a great producer,he will be greatly missed.R.I.P RICH-NICE!!!
I was 13 when “Summer Girls” came out and I memorized it. I even knew that “Girl on Tv” was written specifically for Jennifer Love Hewitt who even appeared in the video… He will be missed alot… BTW @SunnySideUp there are only 3 members of LFO and sadly now there are only 2… RIP Rich….
I have never forgotten this band. I couldn’t believe that they didn’t make it big. They were awesome and I still had their cd in my car I’d listen to. They made a big impact on me not to mention they were hot. Some people just don’t know good music when they hear it.
Trina you should get slapped for being so rude and mean, just becuz u didn’t like him that gives u know right to post this u have no heart and u are a cold-hearted trick, i happen to be a fan of lfo and i loved their songs mainl Girl On TV
I think these guys are ever so talented. The world sadly failed to acknowledge and recognise their talent collectively. Rich’s songs will be his legacy. I think Devin has such a unique tone to his voice it is great to listen to!!
Can people please show some respect for the deceased and their family that maybe reading your comments? We have a saying in the uk….”you don’t speak ill of the dead”. Please show maturity and honour this. RIP Rich….you will always shine like the star!
No need to be rude.
Im crying while writing this but he was a great singer that combined alot of music. And Yes, Trina, if you are being rude, why bother even comment?
And Fonz, please be nice. How would you like it if one of your family members or favorite bands died?
Exactly. So quit with the rude comments.
RIP. Rich Cronin <3
LFO, holds a special place in my heart because, the first time i hear (SUMMER GIRLS) on the radio i loved it, and i really wanted to know who these guys were and curious what they looked like, and the first time i watched the video, i remember thinking, WOW! all 3 of these guys are CUTE, but BRAD was the one i had a huge crush on, years later in New Bedford, MA. i saw them in concert, after the show i followed their limo to Westport, MA. to the hotel where they were staying, and they had an after show dinner at Whites of Westport Resturant. Brad Fishetti saw me out side in the parking lot and invited me to eat and hang-out with them, At the table i was sitting across from Brad and Rich Cronin was sitting on the side of me. it was really cool that Brad was the one that invited me to chill with him, because at that time he had no idea that i had a crush on him, but by the end of the nite he did. we exchanged phone #s and kept in touch 4 a few weeks, at the time i had a boyfriend and i wasn’t interested in a long distance relationship. Brad and i lost touch but, I’M STILL A FAN. I think if people would take the time to listen to both of their albums they could see and hear how many great songs they have that were never played on the radio… FAN FOREVER LUV ALWAYS:> RIP-Rich you are a great talent gone too soon:< "I MISS IT WHEN LFO STOPPED BY IN THE SUMMER"
Absolutely love LFO
Yes Rich, I think about all three of you in the warm sunshine.
I have all your records…………wish I had all the videos.
I have a song I just wrote with a partner called Secrets . wish Devin & Brad could record it as their next big hit.
Rest in peace Rich, you will not be forgotten.
