Saw her at The Troubadour in LA last year and she is amazing. Glad she getting more notice here.
She gave the best performance of the night.
Florence is amazing. I know her from before she blew up and she really is only 24! She’s just British : ) was a very special experience to see REAL talent at the VMAs!
The commentor that stated she can’t believe she is actually 24 meant it as a “WHOA, she looks rough for being 24, def. thought she was older.” At least thats what I took that as.
Loved her performance yesterday. Nice to see her getting the shine she so rightfully deserves.
And last night didn’t even come close to being one of her best performances. Go check out some her live performances on YouTube, you’ll be blown away at how shockingly great she is.
Never fails. Always someone bragging about how they’ve known about an artist “for years”. Who cares? Fact is that she sang her ass off last night and upstaged everyone and if at this point, she hasn’t gained a whole load of new fans from last night, well, then maybe those clueless people can go listen to Taylor Swift sing her offkey, pretentious, “forgiveness” song to Kayne.
Well, there goes this wonderful little lady being my best kept secret, which she has been for the past year. But I’m happy for her, she deserves it very much, and who knows, she may very well be the first female alternative act in a long time to actually hit it big in the mainstream U.S. All that matters though is that she keeps making brilliant music.
I love Florence and the Machine, I loved her music for over a year. She has an amazing voice; she defines what music truly is. Lungs is an amazing album every single song us just wow!
I love Florence and the Machine. Seriously! Florence’s voice is just…WOW!
I LOVED her. She was my total favorite of the evening. I loved that she sang LIVE and didn’t lip-synch like some of the other “top” acts.
