Teen sensation Greyson Chance is busy recording his debut album for a planned fall release on Ellen DeGeneres’ eleveneleven label, but in the meantime he’s keeping his fans happy with another of the piano covers that made him famous.
Chance, 13, just uploaded his version of Augustana‘s “Fire” to his YouTube channel. It’s nothing flashy — just Chance sitting at the piano in his L.A. apartment, playing and singing his heart out. Click through to the jump to check it out.

I love Ellen, but honestly she has no business having a record label. And this kid will not be successful, and on the slim chance he is, he will be over as soon as his voice changes.
I had high hopes until I saw this picture. Whoever said this kid needed an image makeover needs to be strung up by their short and curlies.
I wish they didn’t make him look like justin bieber…he definitely needs another look for him to stand out and avoid the JB comparisons…i wouldve left his hair a bit longer all in all make his look edgier.
we’ll have to let this one play out. have no idea really how this will turn out. dude is talented at the piano and i like his voice. even if his voice changes, his tone should stay intact. his original songs will have to be catchy and relevant to hold the attention of youth today, but hopefully they don’t try to clone bieber and ruin his integrity. we’ll see
Supremely talented kid. He’s obviously very passionate about music too. I think his album will be slick and overproduced, unfortunately. I’d like to see it be acoustic and stripped back; something the music industry needs at this moment.
His co-managers are from the slick and overproduced school. Gaga’s and Madonna’s managers. Well, it might be slick but I doubt it’ll be overproduced. Hope not anyway.

This cover is pretty good. The song will appear on either Chance’s EP or album that will be released later, and it will probably sound a lot better in the studio version. (But this sounds pretty good as-is, even considering the simple, er, production values.)
But music? Who here cares about music, when one look at a freaking Beatles haircut — er, ok, so everyone’s hung up on Bieber, but we know Bieber didn’t invent it or even first make it popular — is all anyone cares about.

I think he is great. But he will have to rely on some older people buying his songs I think…the kid seems down to earth, talented and deserves success- I’m scared the lil girls don’t take to him like their arrogant, ‘good looking’ Bieber. Half of them already hate him probably because he poses some competition. In fact they really shouldn’t be compared – cut yer hair Greyson. With the managers he is rumored to be involved with? (Gaga’s, Madonna’s) and Ellen promoting him hopefully it will turn out ok.
I hope this young guy does well. In an era of “pop stars” who can’t play an instrument AND don’t write their songs or lyrics AND have to be auto-tuned into submission, I think this kid deserves his success. After all, what were most of us accomplishing when we were 13?!
I agree with Sean in that Greyson, unlike so many other kid stars around today, actually plays the piano and can sing without a bunch of background music hiding his voice. He can sing on perfect key without anything but his piano and has never had a voice lesson in his life and writes songs to boot! Now that’s talent. Yes, this kid is level headed and with his family behind him 100%, he will undoubtedly be a success.

i love him he looks nice and sweet.he will be famous in no time.Not like jb for geting in the easy way so not far. i hate jb he makes me so made. but gc his song fire makes me fill better much better.he has a breat voice i wish i had that good as voice. but i do sing. i love gc when i heard his voice i melted.
