Kanye is a “genius” from what angle? He can’t sing (auto-tune), he can’t dance, he has no class, he’s overrated, an egomaniac…the list is pretty long. There’s nothing about him that spells “genius”. Michael Jackson was a genius. Bruce Springsteen was a genius. Bob Dylan was a genius. Kanye is NOT and NEVER will be one. End of story.
Add yourself to that list of “not geniuses”.
Agreed that he is not a genius, but your arguments for stating why he isn’t one failed. Bob Dylan can’t sing and can’t dance either, by your criteria, yet you deemed him a genius. Oh right, you see, there’s this little thing called SONGWRITING.
It’s kinda dark don’t you think. I was a huge kanye west fan, and Jay-z and rocafella but they are all getting too dark and wierd for me.. I really can’t listen to it anymore. They got great talent, they can rap, damn they can rap. But the things they say and the way they Act idk they have changed a lot.. Kanye is way different back then. But dark music isn’t my kinda rap.
Like hot toddy.. Usher is singing about a drink.. And at the club and jay-z’s part has nothing to do with the song. It just seems like jay was trying to address people and the best way is in a song..
