Image Credit: Jiro SchneiderAmerican Idol winner Lee DeWyze has begun announcing the details of his next move in music. The season 9 champ, 24, will release a debut album titled Live It Up on Nov. 16 through 19/RCA. The album will be preceded by a single of the same name, which Ryan Seacrest will premiere on his radio show next Wednesday, Oct. 13.
A press release from DeWyze’s label says he’s working with songwriters and producers like Toby Gad (Beyoncé’s “If I Were a Boy,” Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry”), John Shanks (Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway”), and Espionage (Chris Brown’s “With You,” Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister”).

His voice is way too beautiful to be in that category.
Not really. I watched AI last season. He really wasn’t that good. A competent singer, yes. But nothing special. Often sang off key though. It was just hard to tell because the talent last season was so poor that he seemed good by comparison.
Can’t wait till Lee’s album comes out! He rocks!

Considering only Clarkson & Lambert have had international success 99% of them are flops.
Flops?! Most of them are making millions. Yeah, and what exactly do you do for a living?
what the hell? what about daughtry, carrie underwood? Really what has lambert done but cause controversy? Didn’t his album flop pretty much? I think you need to get over it. If people are good they will make it, it is as simple as that. Lambert, really, wtf?
Nobody cares about Daughtry and Carrie outside of North America. I like them both but it’s a fact – their styles of music don’t have significant international appeal. Kelly’s won awards internationally for some of her more pop style music. Currently, Adam’s playing to sold-out venues in Japan – I don’t know his album sales numbers but I know his last single went platinum and the current one just went gold.
I’m sorry but I don’t think Daughtry and Carrie are exactly crying that they arent’ filling up venues in Japan. Even Taylor Hicks has had moderate success and makes way more money than I or most us do probably. Success is relative. Most of them are probably happy just to be making money from what they love most.
The only success Adam Lambert has had since losing Idol is making himself look like an A$$! “What Do You Want From Me” is a great song written by Pink!

Gold & Platinum records + Gold & Platinum singles with a Sold Out N. American and International tour sounds very successful to me.
I’m not a Lee fan but it seems he has a strong fan base. I think his single & album will probably do pretty good.
It’s funny how folks don’t give Adam credit. Dude has been consistently on the charts since January 2010. Yes, he has certifications of gold and platinum in many countries (big countries). Most of the folk not giving him credit act that way because he is gay and see him as second class. Yes, Adam is international and in this day of low album sales he is well over a million WW and too include charting singles. Oh and If I Had You went Gold this week…WWFM went platinum, his FYE album is cert Gold and stands at 750,000+ in the states…sold out tour (US and International)…freaking Aftermath went no. 1 in Finland. Whe was the last time a male for AI had the most played song on Australian radio? Adam is the only one to do it. Dude is just starting and I hope he does not meet the 2nd slump. It could happen, but his International appeal/success will help him with album no. 2 — As for Lee, I’ll wait for the single…I wonder if he can get a hit as big as Kris Allen’s LLWD? We’ll see…also, please give Adam and Kris credit for being pretty good radio artists. As males coming from Idol, I think they have performed admirably on radio. Obviously, Daughtry is in another category all together — dude gets much respect for always having hit songs and albums
