He’s already been one Brit chanteuse’s American Boy, and now Kanye has stamped his U.K. passport once again, with “Bulletproof” duo La Roux.
Hear his guest spot below on a remix of their “In for the Kill” below, exclusively on EW.com (frontwoman Elly Jackson—pictured above with he who toasts d-bags on the upcoming video’s set—remains the face of the pair, with behind-the-scenes partner Ben Langmaid).

Way better without Kanye.
Agree!!!
agree!!
Um, I disagree, I hate when people who aren’t general fans of rap music say that they don’t like a rapper featured with a certain group or band. just admit it you’re not a big rap fan, therefore you shouldn’t comment on something you don’t know much about. Kanye’s verse was just “ok”, but didn’t destroy this all together “ok” song.
how would you know the above commentors arent fans of rap music? all they said was the song was better without kanye. and i agree.
and i actually am a big fan of kanye, but the original song is just awesome as it is. this remix doesnt really elevate the song.
I am a big rap fan, and I agree with Tyler his part in this song does not elevate the song what-so-ever. Kanyes skills as a producer are often flawless, but lets be honest, he isnt the best MC.
I’ll admit that I personally don’t love rap music, but I have liked a portion of Kanye’s music a lot and absolutely loved American Boy with Estelle. But I just don’t think his part added anything to the song except make me feel like they were adding in vampire raps to appeal to kids.
Agreed as well. Like the refreshed beat. Not too sure about Kanye’s verse on there. It’s fine but agree it doesn’t really add anything to it. I still think the DJ Skream remix is the best.
Wow, you’re a brilliant one, aren’t you? Way to assume!!
i know right, i love la roux fresh original uk style and her videos that just made you wonder what the hell was goin on. kanye just killed it.
Why is Tilda Swinton in this photo?
haha. win!
Because you’re stupid.
I know right? Why did La Roux do so many things to this song? They didnt need a Kanye West remix or make another music video for it. They should have left it alone and just make the music video for “Tigerlily”.
i know right
Dag nabbit good stuff you whpiprensappers!
You like the word “chanteuse”, eh?
“frontwoman” now. Okay.
Amazing mash up of artists. Two of my favorite. Definitely one of my favorite by La Roux. <3
I agree!
I’m either annoyed or impressed that he rhymes “collar” with “hnnahnanahhana”
I’m hearing an emphasis on werewolves and vampires in Kanye’s part. Are they trying to use this in a Twilight movie or something?
This background with the old vocals would be the best version overall. New vocals and Kanye are unnecessary and do not add much.
If you listen closer, there are references to several werewolf and vampire movies (Interview with the Vampire, American Werewolf in Paris). Don’t think it would fit Twilight.
AHAHAHA
Touche’
ROFLMAO
Ugh I hate Kanye. La Roux, however, are amazing!!!
ditto that Tim, ….i like kanye, but this is not good. Elly sounds great!!….
this is amazing but the original is betta, but its dope 2 c the cross genres
It was okay, I suppose, Would be tons better without Kanye.
I love the different beat!, and I was going to say that it’s better without Kanye, but i believe that La Roux will get different set of fans from hip-hop. Good job and good luck!
i guess that =s true
i think she did this collab to spread her fans to different genres of music rather than just electro pop
Really strange, I prefer the original version, eventhough I love Kanye.
Um…Gross. Kanye ruins yet another already perfect song with his ‘talent’. This is disgusting, awful. The worst thing I’ve heard all year. I better not hear it ever again or else I might even start getting a bad taste in my mouth whenever I heat the real version. YUCK YUCK YUCK.
lol, but its true!
Oh brother.
okaayyyyy
i guess your right
but kanye does have talent, if he didnt im sure he wouldnt even be in the music industry.
get a grip. it’s only a song.
Gross. I actually like most of Kanye’s music, but I think his part here sounds horrible. I think Elly sounds great, though. I would listen to this song UNTIL Kanye comes in, then I’d change the tune.
I like it!
This song is like when you first saw “Across the Universe” Compared to the Original Beatles. Your like Wow that’s a way cool completely new take on the song. but, the originals are way better. Nicely done La Roux and West
This version stinks I mean the first version was waaay better Kanye West ruined this song when he sung
Absolutely nice!
thank you.
