Image Credit: Scott GarfieldGwyneth Paltrow is a woman of many talents—not to mention accents. But can she cut it when it comes to singing country in front of an audience?
That question will be answered on November 10, when the actress makes her live country music singing debut at the 44th Annual CMA Awards. The Oscar-winner will perform her new single “Country Strong,” the title track from her new film in which she plays a country star who heads out on tour after a possibly too short stint in rehab.
Country Strong also stars Leighton Meester and real-life Nashville star Tim McGraw. You can watch the trailer—which features a preview of what we can expect to hear at the CMA Awards—after the jump.

There’s nothing hotter in movies, TV and books right now than vampires
You’re not a real American.
Hey Larry,
FYI she’s American her husband is British.
Larry,
You do understand that she IS American?
You do understand that America is the land of “accents?” right? That England is the originating home of English, the language we speak? Oh, that’s right you speak “American” right?
Sure she can! If T. Swift thinks she can ‘sing’ .. why not Paltrow.
I do not know what it is but something about her has always bugged me. Her Hoity-Toity attitude. I’m surprised she doesn’t drown when it rains because her nose is so far up in the air.
Excited for the movie, not so much for the CMA’s.
there’s no way she can belt out a tune like Martina McBride or Taylor Swift.
taylor swift? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
good one.
Taylor Swift should not be in the same sentence as Martina McBride… EVER.
No comparison whatsoever. Martina has a real country voice. Taylor is a wannabe. She sings pop!
BUT I do get the point you are trying to make.. LOL
you know, even tho that trailer has every cliche that ever was in one trailer, the sick part is i’d still go see it. and most likely enjoy it on some level. Yeah GOOP!
