The Weepies, 'Same Changes': An EW exclusive song from the upcoming movie 'Morning Glory'

the-weepiesIndie-folk duo the Weepies, no strangers to TV and film soundtracking — their “World Spins Madly On” alone appeared on Smallville, One Tree Hill, Scrubs, Life Unexpected, Hellcats, and Grey’s Anatomy, among others — will release a track to iTunes tomorrow from the upcoming dramedy Morning Glory, starring Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, and Diane Keaton.

But the Music Mix has the song streaming here first; listen after the jump, and see the band on tour in support of their August release Be My Thrill now through late November:

They remind me of “The Sundays,” circa 1996…a “one hit wonder” from the same genre. May The Weepies fare well.

It would be neat if a soundtrack album of this film were released. “Same Changes,” and Natasha Bedingfield’s, “Strip Me,” should be included, as well.
