Nobody is “born this way.” Just because you’re born into poverty doesn’t mean you’ll stay poor, just because you’re born into a family of alcoholics doesn’t mean you’ll be one, just because you’re born with successful parents doesn’t guarantee you’ll be successful. Sexual orientation is the same. It’s a choice! Yes, life experiences, some we chose and some we did not, may cause us to “lean” a certain way, but it’s a choice.
People are so obsessed w/ trying to explain an unatural desire by cloaking it w/ “I was born this way.” Fine, you’re gay…but that’s your choice! At least OWN the choice and stop trying to justify it by saying you were born that way.
(I have every right to say this…I have a cousin who died of AIDS at 35 6 foot tall and weighing 92 lbs and I have an aunt who is gay)
Wow! Way to speak for all of us. How could you possibly know what someone chose to be? Why would thousands of people voluntarily choose to be apart of a minority that has less rights then the majority? That get ridiculed everyday for just being what they are?
Of course you have the right to say whatever you want. That doesn’t mean we can’t all think that what you say is absolutely idiotic and misinformed.
Wow. You are stuck in elementary-school, 1950′s thinking, aren’t you? No one wakes up one day and “chooses” to be gay. Get real. Did you “choose” to be straight and attracted to the opposite sex? Perhaps we all forgot adolescense, but I don’t believe I know a single person who chose who they were attracted to, gay or straight. “You know, I think I’m going to decide you’re hot.”
No, unless you are gay yourself, you are NOT AT ALL qualified to speak on behalf of homosexuals. Being gay is about as much of a choice as being a certain ethnicity. Who the hell would CHOOSE to be something that would make them the target of harassment and discrimination?

I’m not a fan but some of her songs aren’t bad. I have a lot of respect for her though, she’s really made it big. I never cared for Madonna either but I see a comparison between their careers.
But greatest album this decade? I seriously doubt it.
I think Gaga is a megatalent, but I HATE when artists say things like this.
She is another plastic pop icon like Madonna & Spears, I really doubt her album would be a huge success and that she would surpass what Spears has achieved, much less surpass Madonna. The only music icons that are worthy of awards and tributes are the ones that can sing (to have good vocals) and the ones that compose their own music. Gaga doesn’t have or do neither of this two.

She also sings live at all of her concerts and has very great vocals mind you.

@edu: Really? Are you totally out of touch? hunt4 is correct. She writes, produces, and sings all of her own work, and she even plays instruments. If you don’t believe me, spend 2 minutes researching, starting with watching her senior projects at NYU where she graduated from and performed with. Then you could watch her old band videos from WAY before she was famous where she actually performed several songs that later appeared on “The Fame.” You don’t have to like her, but at least be accurate. Just because someone doesn’t write music that you like doesn’t mean they don’t write it at all.
gaga is a shallow hype machine. the more she hypes something the more mediocre you can count on it being. expect lots of radio play but the album won’t even be considered top 30, 10 years from now.

Not at all talented. and the fact that people think so is just terrible. Plus i’m pretty sure she stole her style from her friend that committed suicide…REAL NICE!!

Oh yeah, I’m holding my breath, certain she’ll produce a Sgt. Pepper or Dark Side of the Moon… the fact that someone publishes such rubbish proves that they have no musical insight…..
I could be wrong, but neither Sgt. Pepper or Dark Side of the Moon were produced in the past decade.. just because you can now purchase Beatles music on iTunes doesn’t make it a new release.
decade? wont even come close to this year alone. kanye, cudi, linkin park, drake, eminem etc all put out great albums this year, with kanyes being a master piece. gaga is just getting the most of her 15 mins, why do you think shes putting albums out every 6 months?
uhhh…we still have 9 more years of music left in this decade to decide which album will be the greatest. Calling her album the greatest now is a bit lofty.
I’ll be a little monster to the end.. Nobody can deny her musical & entertainment abilities.
