She has talent and drive and that goes a long way. I was not a fan at first, but her Monster album is one of those playlists that I can listen to all the songs over and over again and not get bored. I like her. I hope she is right!
I listen to Lady Gaga, when I want to clear my head and listen to bubble gum dance pop and not think. Its pretty good for that and she’s not a bad artist. I’m sure her next album will be a continuation of the last. However, the “album of the decade” should have a bit deeper content. In reality, listening to Lady Gaga is the equivalent of enjoying a Big Mac meal at Mcdonald’s.
No matter who she was addressing when she made these comments, if her album does end up close to this status in the opinions of those who opinionate- that will be very sad.

A lot of haters. Sure her music isn’t “unique;” whose is? It’s dance music. Her talent lies in her ability to create new personae, and in my opinion she’s one of the best in that regard. Anyway, “best album of the decade” is completely subjective.

Lady Gaga is an attention crazed joke of a person. Anyone who wears a “meat dress” gets no respect from me. What happened to musicians winning fans with talent and not gimmics and ridiculous outfits that scream, “look at me”?

The BIG difference is that all those aforementioned artists had music of substance to back up their image. I don’t think you can compare Gaga’s music to any of theirs. Right now she is more gimmick than artistry.

GaGa is Epic. Thanks to her I can be myslef…I would go a step further and say she is the Icon of this decade, so far I’am looking forward to the release of Born This Way!!! Monsters Unite!!!
Her new album is being released in 2011. That just means she’ll only have to make an album better in quality than nine years of new releases from artists like Kanye West, Radiohead, Jay-Z, Foo Fighters, M.I.A., U2, Lil Wayne, Eminem, U2….Eh, you get the idea.
Personally I think some of her songs are catchy. I just can not for the life of me though, get past her ridiculous act. Oh this is how I always dress. I’m so artistic with my frog outfits, and meat dresses, and all those other ridiculous outfits I wear… Quit acting like a weird freak and people won’t think you are one. If she just needs attention that bad, I guess mission accomplished. Its hard not to notice whatever she’s trying to be. If you’re talented you shouldn’t feel the need to dress like an idiot. What was that show she was on? Boiling points I believe. And she dressed perfectly normal. Its amazing what someone will do for attention.
