In a release, Hill expressed enthusiasm for the relatively small venues, enabling her “to see her loyal supporters up close and personal again.” Hill is expected to play reworked versions of the songs from her Grammy-winning album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

A little late on this considering I bought my ticket yesterday! Can’t wait. Just hope she shows up on time.
I`m a big Lauren Hill Fan and I know she`s been through some things in the last couple of years, but she is one of the most talented musicians ever. Her presence is missed and needed in the music industry now! Next THE ALBUM!
obviously youre not since her name is *Lauryn
Love her music and BBWMarriage was amazing
lauryn can’t wait 2 cu in the atl
Yessssssssss!!!
Thanks!!! Just bout Atlantic City tix. Blue Note shows were sold out.
Shes coming to Montreal??? Awesome!
Tickets are apparently going fast. I need to buy mine ASAP.
Insane, right? I didn’t believe it until I went on Metropolis’s website, and then just bought my ticket then and there. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Klaus!!!
Just be aware, apparently Ms. Hill has been very flaky about when she decides to come out and start playing (and thats saying a lot considering how not “on time” concerts tend to start). Here in Burlington her concert was to start at 9 and she didn’t hit the stage until 11:45. And no, there was no opening band. Alas, the wait was not worth it. The concert was in a nutshell… horrible. The songs were sped up and the backup band was way too huge for these small venues she’s “decided” to play. You couldn’t recognize the songs she was playing. All in all, one of the worst concerts I have ever attended. Be warned.
I’ve read several articles online about this and for her to be asking for $50+ for tix is ludicrous. Fantastic artist, but flakiness of the charts.
*off
Fantastic artist? What has she done lately?
There’s a reason Beyonce is at the top of the pile; Beyonce works it really hard. Lauren is lazy and seems to feel “entitled” based on her reputation as a talent.
yes exactly… she played at um’s homecoming this year and her show was a mess. she didnt come out until an hour and a half after she was scheduled to, and didnt sound any good. beware of lauryn hill
wish i could afford the tickets
The incomparable ms. Hill
She’s coming to Charlotte!! Praise Jeebus!! I’m there!!
Did Nicky Minaj say ‘has been?’
What does that have to do with Lauryn Hill?
im upset that shes not coming to los angeles
What has uryn Hill been up to after all the time she had been absent from the world? Well, she should try to get back to form, but I doubt it.
I meant Lauryn. What has she been up too all that time absent from the world?!?
I AM SO HAPPY SHE IS FINALLY COMIN BACK TO REALITY. THE GIRL IS BAD;IN A GOOD WAY, SHE IS SMART EDUCATED BY NO MEANS NECCESSARY. LAUREN GOOD LUCK ON YOUR TOUR. I HOPE YOU COME BACK HARD AND STRONG BECAUSE ALOT OF WOMEN OF TODAY NEEDS THE ENCOURAGMENT THAT U BRING TO THE TABLE. BLESS YOU MY SISTER….PEACE
She needs to feed all of them kids. When is she going to have some new material? One album? C’mon, get back to creating…music NOT babies.
I saw the show yesterday night at Brooklyn Music hall, a very intimate venue ideal for the kind of show I expected from Ms Hill. She showed up after midnight, the backup band was oversized, music was inaudible and the sound was over saturated. I left after the second song (Lost Ones, barely recognizable). I am a huge fan of hers but I was horribly disappointed by the show. I paid $135 per ticket in the grey market.
