That’s good that Britney Spears’ song is still in the top 10, only falling to No 5. It didn’t drop as much. But it gave Bruno Mars’ Grenade single some stiff competition for a moment. And even Katy Perry’s Firework. I’m finally hearing Britney’s song on the radio in my area–it took them 15(!) days to play it until they finally played it in the middle of the music lineup. Maybe it didn’t get enough spins last week until yesterday. I think it will stay in the top 5 or go back to No. 1 within February.

      Except it’s number 6…

The song just ain’t that catchy. I hope the second single is better.

What Brad omits from his post is that Britney falls to #6 with a bullet, as she received the Airplay Gainer award. I think Brit’s song is going to go the same route as Ke$ha’s, where it will climb back into the top five and bounce around for a couple of months as airplay continues to build. Looks like the next formidable challenger for #1 is P!nk, who rockets to #11 with F***in’ Perfect. Very interesting to see Avril Lavigne drop from #13 to #31…

Yes I love Pink’s new single. I think the Funhouse album really defined her as potential to become an icon and one of the best singers around of the past decade. Her new single is one of her best, just might be her best. And the music video is also very well done.
And I was really dissapointed to see Avril drop! I really like the song and am not a huge fan of her. I guess music changes and she isn’t that popular anymore! Her fans don’t seem to be pulling through.

Pink is often underrated and underappreciated so I’m glad for her current resurgent success. I think her amazing performance at the Grammys last year really reminded people how necessary Pink is to the music industry. I can definitely see Pink becoming an icon. Think about it….she can sing anything: rock, pop, R&B, soul, funk. She might try jazz one day!

  • Bruno =True artist

Bruno is the defination of talent. He is the most talented artist out there. His song deserve to be #1 that is what you call music not Britney rubbish autotune songs. All of her songs are the same ,she is right there with kesha.

    • SHawn

that song def. does not sound like Kesha, i believe that song holds her most realistic vocals since the “Im a Slave” album, bcuz its high pitch just like her real voice when she talks, and like it was in her first albums..its not all deep and robotic like the circus album.. i think they didnt alter this song as much cuz there anticipating her to really sing whenever she performs this.

Hold it against me is a much better song than grenade. Does anyone know if marry me will be Bruno’s single or something. It’s his only song I like.

  • alyssa

i am so glad that grenade is numbor 1 instead of the other song

  • Say What?

I think Jason Chen sings “Grenade” a helluva lot better than Bruno does it without sniffing the coke. What do you know.

  • Ramiz raza

Bruno is one in a million$$$$$ i love granade

of course like your website but you need to take a look at the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very troublesome to tell the truth however I’ll definitely come again again.
