So I get the difference between Song of the Year and Album of the year, but what is the difference between Song of the Year and Record of the Year?
Song of the Year is for the actual songwriters and Record of the Year goes to the vocalist/artist, producers and engineers.

Josh “Record of the Year” is a category where songs are nominated and it goes to the vocalist/producers. Song of the year goes to the songwriters and Album of the year is self explanatory
