I think the video is fantastic. Experimental, conceptual & especially loved the vibrant feel. Lets face it though people are always going to want to compare her to Lady gaga now. There’s room for them both. Britney will always clinch it for me!
OMG the bloody product placement! and her dancing… like her singing, a little subdued, and the PRODUCT PLACEMENT! OMG! What is up with Plenty of Fish and Sony… I watch video clips for the dance, choreo etc, not commercialism.
Its ok.. I was turned off when the Sony marketing logo popped up..
So disappointing! Definitely not what we were promised. Where was the dancing?
I like the video. Seemed to be about britney looking back on her life as a pop star and making light of the decisions she made. Not sure why everyone is hating on it.

this video was lazy and messy. the video had absolutely no connection to the lyrics of the song.

its an amazing video , one you can watch over & over & see something new – thought provoking, deep & reaches into the past Britney and beyond into the future Britney that has been born again – the imagery of her floating through TV screens of her past videos in an iconic white wedding dress & the paint coming out of her fingertips represents to me that as an artist she had it in her hands all along …. you paint over the old & create something new : travelling & learning all the time. Art, sex & violence … now who could ask for more lol x
The video was gorgeous and she looked beautiful. The fight scene and the paint from the fingers was epic. I wanted to see more dancing though.
Lady Gaga wears a condom and it’s the 8th wonder of the world, but Britney comes out with a video that is such a departure for her and it gets this middling review? Well, I guess the video applies to you: Britney doesn’t care what you think anymore. THIS is Britney 2011, take it or leave it. For her millions of fans, we’re going to take it. For the people who keep saying “but remember when she did slave 4 u at the VMAs!?” You can live in the past. This is 2011. This is now. This is Britney. You don’t hear people going “Wow, Madonna, why don’t you make the Vogue video 200 more times!” Stop trying to bring Britney back ten years.
