Waka (né Juaquin Malphurs), 24, was just outside of his tour bus taking pictures with fans when two cars pulled up and the men inside exchanged gunfire with the his entourage. Waka wasn’t hit, but a member of his crew did take a bullet in the shoulder and his tour bus took several shots.
Police pursued two men in a white Dodge Charger believed to be involved in the shooting, eventually losing the suspects after they abandoned the car of foot. Waka reportedly went to the the police station for questioning and left late Wednesday. No charges have been filed.
