Chris Brown restraining order eased

A court order that barred Chris Brown from contacting or being near ex-girlfriend Rihanna has been lifted, according to Reuters. Under the modified protective order issued Tuesday by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, Brown is still prohibited from harassing or annoying Rihanna, but he is now permitted to speak with her. The 21-year-old R&B singer was sentenced to five years probation and community service, and ordered to complete a one-year domestic violence program after pleading guilty to assaulting Rihanna the night before the 2009 Grammys. Rihanna’s attorney said that she did not object to the downgrade of the protection order.

Ok, if Chris Brown still had a restraining order on him, then why were dumbazzes like TMZ and other entertainment outlets asking why he didn’t go to the All Star game then? Reporting has gone to hell in a handbasket.

To ask a dumb question like this knowing the guy couldn’t be near Rihana is just stupid.

    • Your Queen

      Calm down.
      Whiny child.

I am so glad for Chris, everyone overreacted to his little error in judgment. He did not do anything that wrong, and we know he will be a perfect gentleman from now on.

Of course if he ends up killing Rihana then I guess it is a mistake.

He didn’t do anything that wrong?? He beat her ass! and yeah sure, we’re over it and everyone makes mistakes. But if Rihanna gets back with him then it’s a different story… a dumb one for certain.

I hope JerseyJeff is being sarcastic.

Hide your girlfriends! Hide your wives!

    • Your Queen

      Hide your husbands too!

  • efrain

Mr. Brown please still stay away from Rihanna. She is doing much better without you.

    • Charles

@Efrain; this young woman has no morals. She act’s like a lose woman from the streets. Both young women and men need to learn to respect themselves and their bodies and stop the ghetto mentality. Rihanna acts like a woman of the streets.

        Thank you! TELL IT.

  • Fatima

I just need to use this opportunity to say that they released the track listing to his new album and there’s a song called “Wet The Bed.” It’s said to be a sex jam. I can’t even…..Chris, you’re the worst of everything.

  • Rik Shaw

Why hasnt anyone thrown a good ole beating on this chump yet, mostly for making garbage so-called music?

  • Mel

Yeeahhh… Because Rihanna hasn’t been speaking to him this whole time…

  • Laundry

I sought moral leadership in Chris Brown and he let me down.

Chris Brown doesn’t want to be near Rihanna anyway, he wants to attend awards shows or public events freely, that’s all.
Last time, she left him because she was afraid to damage her career but this time around it’s his to lose (definitely) if he approaches her. He knows where his best interests are now: Good music, grammys, record breakings, legacy.
Now that everything is fine, it’s OFFICIALLY time for the TeamBreezy takeover!
    F.A.M.E March 22nd !

  • Ash

Why doesn’t he have to spend any time in prison?

    • trish

@Ash He didn’t have to spend anytime in prison because Rihanna and her attorney worked with him and his attorney to come to an agreement on his punishment. So to answer your question, the reason he didn’t have to go to jail is because Rihanna didn’t want him to go to jail and the judge approved the order as such. If Rihanna wanted him to be punished to the fullest extent, then she could have disagreed with the order and MADE the case go to trial. However, it probably wouldn’t have been in either’s best interests.

  • PN

I still think that Rihanna needs to STAY AWAY from Chris Brown, regardless of that restraining order lifted in court! She doesn’t need him and she has already moved on! Chris has moved on as well. But he’s been making better songs than that horribly lame Graffiti album! I hope that he makes a better album than that ilk.
