Kina is very talented. I’ve seen her live on a few occasions and she has a beautiful voice, sort of Colbie Caillat-ish. And she writes some pretty tunes. BUT I purchased her first semi-mainstream album and I must say I was disappointed. It was sooooo dull and boring and didn’t show off her abilities. Full disclosure: I went to high school with her, where she was the sweetest girl and that’s why I’ve seen her perform so much. But meh.
I also love her covers of Fast Car and With or Without You that she did with the amazing Boyce Avenue!
I love her duets with David Choi. They’re so cute!
I have been following Kina for about a year now. I love her voice, her ballads and especially her drive. She has a passion for what she does and she loves the encouragement she recieves for doing it. What a combination. I think she is great right now and the sky is the limit for her.
Kina’s latest album “Stairwells” is really just wonderful, and if you get a chance to see her live, take it — she’s such a sweetheart and that set of tunes will stick in your head a long time.

This is a fun song! I love her Stairwells album. It’s great. Most of the time I’m looking for music that would fit my mood and I’d turn to Stairwells for it. I can’t wait to attend one of her shows and to meet her! She’s a true artist.
