What does the “O” stand for? Good question — MTV is purposefully leaving that up for interpretation. Here’s what we do know: The inaugural O Music Awards will take place April 28. Their purpose is to “honor the migration of music to the digital space, and celebrate the art, artistry, and technology of digital music” through an nontraditional awards show that will be heavily interactive, incorporating television, social media, and mobile technology. The network will soon announce a hub for the show, as well as what its categories will be; Billboard speculates that they may include “things like best app and best Kanye West tweet.”

o = other? maybe. the name is lame
O = Online?
“Online” is a no-brainer.
Ha online what else would it be?
Is this to make up for all the recent years they haven’t aired music videos in the daytime hours due to the endless reality show marathons like the now defunct The Hills and current shows like Jersey Shore and Teen Mom? Those shows even drove the long running TRL off the air. They put more money on Situation and Snooki than someone trying to get their music out with their standard music video. They passed on the video showing and let 106 and Park and VH-1 handle it now.
Why does MTV even bother trying to associate itself with music these days? Not really much of a point anymore. Music is essentially nonexistent on the network.
Didn’t MTV announce they were dropping the “Music Television” in order to pursue more Jersey Shore like programming? I don’t want to hear anything about MTV and music again. It’s doing nothing for music these days. Leave music to other stations and go follow Snooks to Italy.
Lady GAGA will win a few of those…
I often hear from who are very critical of rdaacil feminism and the courts that they were robbed blind by their ex when they got divorced, thanks to the court system bias against and fathers. Their ex wife and mother of their children gets to keep the house, get alimony and a huge chunk of his money, and sometimes he has trouble getting visitation rights supposedly.Is there any truth to there being a systematic bias against , and that perfectly innocent husbands get robbed all the time? Or do the who complain the most neglect to mention that they were abusive to their wife and kids? While some good get taken advantage of by some , especially gold-diggers and foreign , I personally do not know of any cases where the did not have a good reason to divorce their husbands, or they were abusive. Also, some lose big time due to divorce as well. I’ve never been married or divorced(but my parents are divorced), so what gives, what do the statistics say?
