Glee has already had huge success in its choral covers of hits like “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Teenage Dream.” But now the show is venturing into original music (which EW had exclusive details on earlier this week) and the two new tunes, “Loser Like Me” and “Get It Right,” had their world premiere this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. “Loser Like Me” is a fun, uptempo group number and “Get It Right” is a power ballad for Lea Michele. to Tina as asian *fill in the blank* (ie: asian kisses). GLEE doesn’t hndale its characters very well, so many of them are tropes, or caricatures. The show lacks depth and relies on stereotypes to sustain itself. If it weren’t for the music and occasional hilarious moment, then GLEE could possibly be off the air by now.

I really like “Get It Right” Lea Michele sounds amazing. “Loser Like Me” isn’t my kind of music but still it sounds like a fun song.

The first song brings to mind for me Pink. That and it sounds an awful lot like ‘Raise Your Glass’

The guy who wrote “Loser Like Me” is the same guy who wrote “Raise Your Glass”

“Loser Like Me” is a much better song from a lyrical perspective. Lea Michele’s talent carries that second song.

I love these songs! A LOT better than I expected for sure. I’m a fellow Gleek and I’m so glad that these are going to be played on the radio (because that is where I first heard them not knowing what they were) because now we may get some more new Gleeks
Wouldn’t count on it. I have a feeling Glee’s already peaked.
And I have a feeling (and some facts) that Glee will be on for quite a while yet. It makes huge bank for Fox.

get it right is completely believable in the context of the show. considering we’re supposed to believe that rachel actually writes this i think it fits. it’s everything i think her character would want to say. i’m excited to actually see this!
Lea sounds lovley on an ok song. Loser like me is prue fluff and meh.
Lea Michele is a fantastic talent, but why must she be the lead in all the group numbers? She deserves a solo, and Get it Right is very good, but the other song should have showcased the talents of others.
And I’m annoyed with “Finn” having the lead in groups numbers as well.
This is only the second lead for her in a group number all season. She didn’t even have a song at Sectionals. It is also story driven and well Lea and Cory are the leads.
In the show Rachel wrote both of these songs so why wouldn’t she want to be the lead in them?
I agree if not for Lea vocals the first song wouldn’t do much for me. It does work for Rachel though. TLsoers like me is pretty kidz bop.
I love their covers and now they need to get back to covering older music. They can do an original songs once in awhile for an assemble or something. Lea has such a pretty voice and does well on her solo song.

I am surprised that they are so sotry driven. But I must say Losers like me is to teeny bopper. Get it Right is Celine like and Lea sounds really nice on it.
