It’s like Robin Sparkles little sister decided to become a pop star in Canada.
Word. Had you not beaten me to the punch, my comment was to be, “Rebecca Black? Don’t you mean Robin Sparkles?”
“Let’s go to the mall…today!”
I`m not gonna lie,I saw this for the first time today and lost it for half an hour I was so entertained! It`s truly hilarious but I cant help feel bad for this girl and everyone involved being used for our amusement. Oh well, that`s America for you.
Her voice was processed through machines to help it and she STILL sounds bad. Why are people praising and making a video viral of someone who cant sing when there are hundreds of people with REAL talent on youtube.
I agree with this entire article. Except, I don’t think people are for some reason intoxicated with this song, causing YouTube views to skyrocket. The only reason why I watched the video in the first place was because I kept hearing comments about how ridiculous it was and I needed to see it for myself. I do not intend on re-watching it. I think most of those views are simply coming from curiosity. At least, I hope to God that that is the reason and that people don’t actually think this is good.
this seemed so weirdly familiar…and then it hit me–it’s basically a real teeny-bop version of “Let’s Go to the Mall.”
But they forgot the robot!
Why are bad rappers and singers getting famous nowadays? And if you call them bad, you get called a jealous hater?
ok i mean this for real and am genuinely curious…
is this a joke? a parody? typically I’ll see right through stuff but this time i dont really know…?
You have to admit the slowed down by 5 remix is brilliantly Enya like.
If you want to actyuallyu get facts about Rebecca do it through her site rebeccablack.info (instead of .com)
I really hope this is a joke video…please let it be a joke because she can “sing” (and I don’t even know if I can use the word “sing” because that is not singing) about 2 notes and the song is insanely bad.
Everyone who keeps saying it’s a parody…. Please point out your place in the video. Wake up people, this poor girl really thinks she is going to be the next Miley…. It just goes to show you that YouTube can give anyone a voice, from the oppressed in Libya to the wanna be pop princess from where ever the hell she is from….
I just finished listening to the song , and i think it is horrible. She says friday so many times it is very annoying. How do people actually like this song.
No one likes the song, Betty. That’s the point.
This song is one of the worst songs i’ve ever heard. How in the world does this song have over 2 million veiws. This doesn,t make any sense to me.
Must be nice when your video gets so much publicity.

The official website of the ARK Music Factory, the same label that produced Friday by Rebecca Black. A bit of digging around shows that it’s not satire video, these people are legit.
