Producer Darius “Deezle” Harrison claims Lil Wayne and his record labels, Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records, are past due on payments for his hit-making services.
MTV reports that Harrison has filed a $20 million lawsuit against them, claiming he’s yet to see the loot from co-crafting several jams on Weezy’s 2008 album Tha Carter III, including “Mrs. Officer,” “Let the Beat Build,” and the Grammy-winning Hot 100 chart-topper “Lollipop.”
$20 million is a ton of green. But considering the album’s sold six million copies to date, maybe it’s deserved? Probably not. He helped make the songs, but he wasn’t the producer on any of them. His asking price and lawsuit is likely one that will be settled for a far smaller amount. Time will tell.
What do you think of Harrison’s suit? Let us know in the comments section below.

That is what happens when you get high all the time, forget to pay the bills.
nah bro al dis b*** lyk ppr bt weezy smoke ppr
He is brilliant and TallMatch was amazing
All of hip-hop is nothing more than “gotz to get paid” – so this guy is just trying to do that. That makes him dope, def, hardcore, illin’, ballin’, handlin’ his biznass, and keepin’ his paper straight.
It’s common knowledge in the industry that cash money doesn’t pay their royalties. Bangladesh (A Milli producer) also sued for the same reason. Mannie Fresh, one-time cash money member, is still owed millions from his productions. the record label name is quite ironic. Cash Money, work with us, and you will never see any.
nahh thass def hatinqq on them like ohdee..some people is looking for quick money and publicity so theyll do anything to get itt…so smfh…
Mane thats wrong weezy keep ur head up he know he didnt have to do dat to u u just got out of jail to like really f*** him

ETC,,,, they are known for being dirty business dogs. if they have so much money to blow…. WHY NOT PAY UR WORKERS????????? A LOT OF PEOPLE LEFT THEM…… currensy left them because their dirty NOW HE’S DOING REALLY WELL being independent artist. stay away from cash money, and dont support their fraud lifestyles.
That sounds like a hater, too. Me!
they’re**
cash money sucks
WTF does. Everyone wanna sue him For something it’s like his life is falling down
Lil wayne shudnt be so stingy he made a lot of money on dat song and i think he shud pay.
Wayne and his crew are dope, don’t see why y’all got to be hatting on the negga only because he could’nt pay the $20Mill,it’s not like he can’t and won’t pay…what’s wrong with y’all?Wayne is outstanding y’all…don’t hate!
Lil’ Wayne has no defense in this. This has been a known issue for I don’t know how long man Jim Jonsin is still owed money for Lollipop too I don’t even think he’s been paid in full. Cash Money needs to pay people, period. They’re notorious for not paying producers their royalties on time, and they have no excuse. If I made a song for you that’s on an album that sold 6 million copies and I don’t get paid? Best believe imma sue your ass for 20 million dollars. It’s principle; you do work? YOU GET PAID. They’ve done this to countless producers and I applaud dude for finally going forward with his lawsuit. Real Rap.
I think it’s messed up how they r tryin to get that amount of money cause it don’t take that much to produse a songs
NAW ITS MESSED UP HOW THE PRODUCER SEWED LIL WAYNE ABOUT NOT PAYIN HIM THE MONEY THE PRODUCER AINT NUN BUT A B***H
