Adam Lambert is the only one that stood out for me, he’s in a league of his own. I like Jennnifer Hudson, I really liked Melinda Doolittle from season 7, I was so dissapointed she didn’t win, I’d like to know what happened to her. My all time favourite is Adam, a true superstar.
I agree with the comments about this year’s contestants being overproduced. I think JLo is bringing some great points to the table and seems to truly care about these ‘kids’ and their future. As for past idols, my favorite is David Cook. He kind of broke the mold on doing covers on Idol with his own arrangements, the way he connected with the audience, and his willingness to take the judges’ criticisms to heart and make each performance better. And he stayed true to himself, which he has continued to do since his win. New album out very soon – can’t wait. Would love to hear him duet with Carrie again like they did at Disneyworld with Go Your Own Way. Stunning.
Completely agree. Right now my favorite part of Idol is getting a little snippet of David Cook when he sings “Don’t You Forget About Me” on elimination nights! When will he perform on the show?
David will perform on April 21st to sing his new single “The Last Goodbye” off his upcoming album. And he will also come back for the finale to sing “Don’t You Forget About Me”.
