Hot for teacher? Then you’ll be happy to hear that Matthew Morrison—a.k.a. Glee‘s Mr. Schuester—has announced the dates for his summer tour. Morrison will be performing songs from his upcoming, self-titled album as well as covers he first performed on the show.

In lieu of one consistent opening act, the tour, along with VH1’s Save the Music foundation, will give local school glee clubs the chance to compete to be Morrison’s opener. If you think your group has what it takes, you can enter the contest at Morrison’s website, starting April 8.

Additionally, Morrison is teaming up with Friday Or Die Funny Or Die to create video content for the tour; if the clips are anything like “Nuthin’ But a Glee Thing,” we’ll be pleased. Here are the tour dates themselves:

No, I won’t! I catched his live performance at the Grove a few months back and it is too boring for me. Sad :(

    • Ben

      You ‘catched’ his performance?

      • Annette

This guy is so boring it hurts!

      • Rebecca

I love him and the show and PolygamyMatch was amazing

  • Ash

Honestly, I’m surprised he’s visiting this many cities. He DOES seem boring, Joseph.

  • Caleb Oakley

Who in their right mind would go see him?

    • Bella

Only if he takes his shirt off and puts a bag over his head.

    • Sara

I might go see him and for the record, I’m sure some other people will too. Your comment is a bit insulting.

  • JPX

Who the hell is Matthew Morrison?

    • David

Someone you’ve apparently never heard of but still felt compelled to comment on. Step away from the computer once in awhile.

  • Ella

haters…seriously guys, if you don’t like him, why even bother commenting about him?

  • jt

“Boring”?? lol Maybe we’re not watching the same guy. Anyway, I was kind of excited to see him until I saw the ticket prices. Why is everyone charging so much during such a bad economy? I don’t mind paying $45, but more than that is a bit ridiculous.

    • BruceMpls

You got that right about the ticket prices. The cheapest nose-bleed in the balcony seats here in Minneapolis is $114 with seats in the 15th row at $347. I wouldn’t pay that to see anyone let alone him.

  • Cat

Not a fan but I like what he’s doing with his opening act.

Gee there are some really rude comments about this most amazing guy. I so wish he was coming to New Zealand I would pay anything to see him live. I dont think that the haters should be posting this about him what if he was to read them that would not be very nice. Get a life people. Matthew Morrison I love you and always will.
