I’m glad she was pulled out of the Disney machine and sent to treatment by her family. Her mind and body are far more important than 15 minutes of fame. I pray she continues on the road to healing. (Disney execs: no need to put her back under the microscope. Leave her alone.)
Maybe, she could benefit from having a guy friend with benefits in her life. Someone like Speedy Gonzalez , who won’t take up too much of her time .

It’s nice to see her genuinely come out with her story, not looking for fame or to sell her tale of woe. It’s very refreshing. Especially now, with so many girls going through the same thing, I think this makes her an even bigger role model.
Demi, u r my idol. im going through something similar. it hasnt gotten to the point where im harming my body, but i feel horrible everyday. celebs like u r just wat i need; someone to look up to. someone who is living proof that everythings gonna get better. Demi, i hope ur feeling better now<3
I read in another article that she’s had issues with depression, eating disorders, and cutting since she was young. If her parents truly cared, then why was she allowed into the industry and why didn’t they get her help until now? Were they just waiting for her to breakdown before actually giving her the attention she obviously needed?
I didnt like demi in the first camp rock. i guess it was because of her hair or something. But I started to love her after i watched camp rock the final jam a few times. Just hang in there Demi Lovato, because your fans love you.
