We’re a little over a month away from the May 23 release of Lady Gaga’s new album Born This Way and today the superstar’s latest single, “Judas,” leaked online (it was officially supposed to drop on April 19). Gaga fans will still be eagerly awaiting the video for “Judas” which the singer and her choreographer, Laurie Anne Gibson, co-directed. Gaga already tweeted how proud she was of the final product: “It’s the greatest work we’ve done.” Listen to “Judas” below…

Lady Copycat is at it again! Judas ripped off the beat of Loli Lux’s “Wannabe”, and the chorus sounds very similar to “Rockefeller Street” by Getter Jaani.
The only thing that didn’t sound like Bad Romance was that beat and now it’s ripped off. What am I surprised anyway?

Having an informed opinion does not necessarily equate with being judgmental or hateful. The fact is, this song is a clone of Bad Romance, just like Born This Way is a clone of Express Yourself.

This reminds me when Mariah Carey released HEARTBREAKER, ripping off her own FANTASY (which already was a heavy appropiation of The Tom Tom Club’s Genius of Love). I love Gaga (Yes, I do), but this sounds way too much like her own Bad Romance…

It actually sounds more like Poker Face to me then Bad Romance. People also said that Bad Romance sounded similar to Poker Face but better. However I don’t think Judas is better then Bad Romance. It is better then Born This Way though.

This song is a mix of bubblegum (the chorus) and 80s overdone, old sound.
It just doesn’t MEAN anything, it seems so cheap. I’ll go back to listening to my Adele CD…
I loved the Fame and the Fame Monster, but the first two singles from the upcoming album have been sheer disappointments for me. My ears actually cringed listening to this song. Utterly cheap and dumb. This sound used to be considered as crap in the US. How it became mainstream is beyond me.

Britney makes crap. At least Gaga’s songs are about something personal (whether it is conveyed properly/well is a different issue.) Britney just has a team write crap for her. Hold it Against Me? The lyrics to that song are just awful.

GaGa is so far up her own @ss at this point that there really is no turning back. I just wish she went back to making fun dance music. All this “Statement” making is just tiring at this point. And when she said her glued on prosthetic “Bones” were real, I realized I was done with her. Was looking forward to seeing if she could turn it around for me, but I really dislike this song.

Same structure of Bad Romance. The melodies even match in a few spots. Sorry, but she needs to try harder than this and i’m a fan of her Fame Monster days. This new album is not showing any big progression whatsoever so far.
