Former head Pussycat Doll and rumored X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger makes a play for a sunny, pre-summer jam with “Right There,” the first single off her upcoming album Killer Love.
In the new clip, the svelte pop diva slinks around downtown Los Angeles in skimpy outfits alongside featured guest 50 Cent and instigates an impromptu all-girls dance party that is all sorts of sultry.
The green-screen antics with Fiddy and product placement (Hi, Belvedere!) are a bit much, but the video is more than redeemed by Scherzinger’s warbly vocals, bump-and-grind dance moves and totally silly fashion.

You say “warbly” I say “nasal”, sounds like a knock-off of Rihanna’s “What’s My Name”. It’s not really a bad song though, just a bit…familiar.
Her album is quite good. People should check it out.

She an AMAZING vocalist, but you’d NEVER know by this track. Sounds like a Rihanna album track. Why can’t she or her team find hits? Pretty astounding.
She almost has the entire package: strong voice, beautiful, and stage presence. Unfortunately, she lacks the most important one to this industry today, which is the knack for picking a catchy song. This is what makes Katy Perry and Rihanna reign over her. Even Justin Bieber, I don’t really care for him but I can’t stop myself from singing “Baby, baby…” when the chorus comes along. Darn you Bieber!
