UPDATE (6/1): Sean Kingston expected to recover, sources tell CNN
ORIGINAL POST: Sean Kingston is in critical but stable condition at Ryder Trauma Center in Miami following a weekend jet ski accident, his representative said early Tuesday morning.
It was first reported late Sunday night that Kingston, best known for his 2007 song “Beautiful Girls,” was in serious condition after a jet ski he was driving crashed into a bridge. A female passenger was also injured.
A bystander, speaking to Miami’s local10.com, gave a rather graphic account of the rescue, telling the news source that Kingston (real name Kisean Anderson) was submerged underwater when he arrived on the scene.
“Sean’s family asks for privacy at this time but is thankful to his friends, family and fans for their outpouring of prayers and well wishes,” a statement from his rep said.
The station reports that tennis player Serena Williams and rapper Young Berg have been among Kingston’s visitors.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHH. GA GA OH LA LA FAT ARSE PA PA
Is people still joking about his condition? I know its the internet but thats some ***ked up stuff…
Some people need to be macho and if they can’t do it in real life the internet is the next best place.
I hope he saved some of his money from his one hit wonder song. Those hospital bills will bankrupt him.
Sean Kingston is hardly a one hit wonder. He’s had 5 songs that were Top 20 (6 if you count his “featured” credit on Natasha Bedingfield’s “Love Like This”), 3 of which went Top 10. I’d say he’s just as well known for his #5 hit “Fire Burning” as he is the #1 “Beautiful Girls.”
But then, you were just being a snarky internet troll, no??
He has talent I hope he comes out of this. And my fav song is face drop so he does have more then one hit.
I hope he’s alright – that’s how they described Gary Coleman before he went kaput.
I hope he dies. I seriously hate his type of people and the crap music they make. Die, Sea Monkey, Die!
Sean is the real man, big up 2 my Jamaican brother he will make it through PPL with Jamican blood r fighters and he does not ave 2 worry about money cuz he will live to make it back
