I jumped for joy when I heard EW was interviewing Gwen! LOVE everything she has done. I am so excited for the new album, maybe the secret news is a release date or perhaps a title? :O
And I do believe her solo career was good, her Love Angel Music Baby album is still one of my favourite albums but The Sweet Escape album kind of sucked. I love all of No Doubt’s records though!
She prolly wise ti stick with the band. In just 5 years since her last solo CD, there are a lot of younger chicks doing it (Ke$ha, Gaga, Rihanna). Though I’d put Gwen HIGH up on the list.
No Doubt have been away for much too long. While I’ve enjoyed Gwen’s solo career, they are an amazing band and I can’t wait to hear when and what they have in store for us.

I would love it if No Doubt released a new album soon. I’ve been to a couple of their concerts and I’m a big fan. I would also love it if Gwen released another solo album. I thought her music was really fun.
I’m definitely going to miss her as a solo artist. It was a lot of fun pop stuff, but I prefer No Doubt to her solo.
As a No Doubt fan from the very beginning (1992) I am very excited to see a new album. With all of the life changes that they have all gone through, but still stuck together, this album promises a different level of maturity that perhaps may have lacked from other albums. While all the albums were spectacular, this level of life and experience begs for a different style, I look forward to the new album, and hopefully a corresponding tour.
I loved No Doubt and Gwen’s solo work. Obviously, the solo stuff was a phase: she wanted to explore other things but so did the others having kids etc. No Doubt had their World tour in 2009, so I don’t see why people are debating it now when it’s been going on since the end of her solo career in 2008?
Bring on NO DOUBT! I’ve been waiting 10 years!
Love most of their singles and a lot of their album tracks…they may make mainstream pop/rock, but it is eclectic mainstream pop/rock. They set the trends, not just follow them.
Haters keep watching stupid people in American Idol.
