Driving around the inner city, I’ve noticed a lot of those yellow signs in car windows: BABY MAMA ON BOARD.
yes chris brown is a great performer. i totally agree. however, i still can’t get past his off-stage issues. i know you need to separate them, but i can’t get past his violent outbursts. i just can’t. same goes for michael vick. again, in their fields they rock, but i personally can’t see past their issues.
millions of people plus myself really enjoyed BET Awards this is great entertainment. to all the winners you worked hard and it’s your turn to shine. the tribute was very inspiring, loved pattie labelle and steve harvey,anita baker,charelle and alexander, the 5 heartbeats, the braxtons. need the keep including oldschools that wasn’t recognized and tell the newschool to limit all of the cussing on this award show. they can do that in their own concerts. chris brown, micheal vick, serena williams, drake,p.ditty you are the best of the best. remember the fools and haters on this blog are jealous and are doing dirty stuff too behind close doors you can tell by their cheap comments they are hypocrites,rejected and antieverybody looking for attention. if you don’t like what you see turn the channel or do your own award show (talk cheap).BET and all the other award shows keep up the great work.
I know it doesn’t seem like it but there were other people at this awards ceremony. Some amazing musicians/performers like Patti LaBelle, Anita Baker, Gladys Knight, Jill Scott, Mary Mary, etc. How sad that all these idiots that sing/rap about nothing have chosen to take the least admirable qualities of humanity and promote them. It’s proof that most of what’s being produced is made by and for morons. You can’t be mad at Lil Wayne because you keep buying the records.
The Chris Brown hate, I understand. The Mike Vick hate, I don’t. I know what he did was detestable but any society that values the lives of dogs over people is totally clueless. Children are the victims of violence every day in this country but for some reason you don’t see the same outrage for their abuse as you do for Michael Vick’s dogs. How about People for the Ethical Treatment of People?

Idris Elba has been by far the most compelling actor on TV in the last year. I’m happy to see him win. Luther is one of the best shows on TV. I can’t wait to see what he will do next.

Why do you guys (non-black, I suppose) want to be on BET so much? Why do you feel so slighted? Trying to fight for something just for the sake of arguing. It’s like the n-word. Why does everyone want to say it so much, or are trying to get the right to say it?
And that young star award was a complete joke. When I heard it, I just knew without hearing the nominees that Willow or Jaeden would win, it was kind of tailor-made for them. Like literally, how much do you want to bet that Will and Jada marched into BET’s office and demanded that they make an award for their children. But for it to be a tie? You have got to be kidding me. I kind of feel sorry for those kids, they really are being pimped to believe everyone’s a winner in their family, well, except that other one of theirs.

As for the Smith kids, not many other celeb kids out today doing things big in hollywood like they are, so can you really argue that it was wrong for them to win?
BET awards, NAACP, Black Colleges and Universities, Pride Awards… Just once, if there was ever an “All White” group or awards show, the blacks would be ALL up in arms against it. So much for equality.
