I wish I was there. My friend went a couple of years ago and had a blast. And with this line up, well if I had the funds, I’d be there. Love me some Jhud and Tasia!

Why arent’ there any whites on the bill? What about Mayer Hawthorne, Robin Thicke, Jon B, Fitz and the Tantrums, or the Black Keys? White people make much better R&B than black people who just sing about having babies and welfare

Black people will flock to concerts and music festivals but they won’t flock to school and get an education. I teach middle school and the Black kids are always the ones with bad grades and atrocious behavior.

      Maybe you’re just a sh*tty teacher

Maybe you need a new career …..and I hope you are not african american because your statement shows you don’t know how to relate to our african american kids…

E! Music Mix should do an article on Alicia Key’s “Piano and I” concert at the Beacon last Thurs night. She was great!

If the “black kids” are not doing well maybe it’s because you don’t go the extra mile to connect with them on their level….maybe they are not performing to their true potential because they are aware that you have given up on them and you have separated them by the colour of their skin. God would have to give me strength if you were my son’s Teacher! You should really Change your thought process because the “black” artist are more successful than you and may I add, richer too!!

usher is the king of r and b because he embodies all that a true entertainer exemplifies. Trey songz is the next in line. My r and b favorite singers are usher, ginuwine, r kelly, letoya luckett, mary jblidge, lailah hathaway, blue cantrell, whitney houston, and crisette michelle.
