Katy Perry has been forced to postpone two upcoming shows due to food poisoning.

Yahoo reports that Perry was under the weather last night during her performance at Milwaukee’s Summerfest festival.

Apparently it hasn’t gotten any better since and her July 8 and 9 concerts have been moved to August. Perry turned to Twitter earlier today to apologize for the switch-up and announced the new dates.

“Chicago and St. Paul—I’m so sorry to have to postpone today and tomorrow’s shows,” she writes. “But I’ll be back 8/21 (CHI) and 8/23 (St. Paul)!”

Pop starlets haven’t been doing so well in the health department as of late. Taylor Swift just canceled a show because of bronchitis, and Adele’s just getting back on her feet after being sidelined by laryngitis.

EW sends its best wishes, and recommends a personal chef, some Robitussin, and green tea, respectively, for these three ladies.

Can’t their producers just put on the show without them?

I think that this relentness pace of touring nonstop and the uneven mix of hot weather and irregular temperatures in some places of the country might be taking a toll on some singers. First it’s Taylor Swift canceling some 3 to 5 shows and now it’s Katy Perry canceling a few shows. I read about Katy’s food poisoning situation. But one weird moment I saw this week was of Taylor Swift in the Cover Girl commercial dancing in circles over some disco-driven music in the background. A country singer thinking she’s having a polyester flashback to disco-filled 1979 dancing around to the music in the ad? Weird disconnect to me!

WoW you guys don’t even try and write actual stories anymore!! You run stories you pick on the AP but don’t even elaborate on them. Whats even worse about Perry canceling Friday the 8th’s date was the fact that she was in Chicago the SAME night as touring competitor Britney Spears at the United Center! Perry’s tickets were cheaper and went on sale months before Brit’s & both lil girls and gay boys alike were torn since many had already purchased tix to see Katy & Robyn before the Britney & Nicki show was even announced or on sale, so to then find out the day of that Katy canceled and rescheduled…you do the math! But I guess y’all just wanted to run the story bout Katy canceling…guess y’all don’t care about the actual fans who were the ones that paid the price…sigh….
