Dave Grohl has a reputation for being one of rockdom’s more genial inhabitants, and certainly I’ve always found the Foo Fighters head honcho to be an utterly affable interviewee.
But everyone’s rope has an end! Grohl reached his last night while playing a show at London’s Roundhouse venue, during which he stopped the Foos mid-song and demanded that some poltroon in a striped shirt be removed for allegedly fighting. Except the ex-Nirvana drummer didn’t use the word “poltroon.”
You can find out what word he did use in the expletive-filled footage of the moment below:

awesome!!!
Dave is my hero.
I love you Dave. Can’t wait to see you in Vancouver.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes!
Well said my friend, well said. I wish more bands would do this, there are so many jack**s’s on the floor that they ruin the experience for the real fans around them. Love Dave, whoo!
A-holes at shows need to be tossed out more often. We don’t need ‘em.
epic !!!
He stopped a song in Saskatoon once to make everyone move back because people were getting injured
Well I’m also sure he did that for liability reasons
I vote for Dave to be the next President! The man has class.
I am in LOVE with Dave Grohl! Yum!
reminds me of Krist Novoselic going crazy at a Nirvana show in Fall ’93 because some dude grabbed a girl’s breast… freaked out and yelled at him through the mic.Kurt just sat in the La-Z-Boy on the stage, lit a cigarette and said “We’ve hired goons.. and they will be called on to kick your ass.” Then he waved for security.
Dave was a really good keyboard player in Nirvana, too bad Eddie Vedder married Courtney Love and ended up killing himself or else Nirvana could have been as awesome as Justin Beaver or Miley Montana
I thought Eddie Vedder played with Pearl Jet back in the 80′s. He was in Nirvana?
Oh, you know what? I think you must have confused Eddie Vedder with Jim Morrison. Oops.
Very cool! I hate those kind of a people at concerts and so impressed the he stopped the show and got rid of him.
Dave you are a rock god and a genuinely awesome dude.
Kudos to Dave, in that explicit manner for ordering that audience member out of the venue! And even though they never showed the person fighting, what he did was unnecessary during the Foo Fighters’ performance. Even made the band stop midsong to throw that person out! After that, he and the band continued playing.
You’ve gotta know what show you go to. The crowd at a Foo Fighters show does not want to mosh. Lamb of God has more than enough fans who would love to engage in some moshing, but as you punch innocent Foo fan, you probably dont have the guts to join a real mosh pit.
